Erm.. i have i request, i never seem to manage to gety my avitar to a nice HQ finish whether it be the upload or my edits something, somewhere goes squiffy.

I would like to request someone who would be up for it to just get my avatar to the maximum publishers club memeber's size and have an escapist roll across the background in the same colour as the image.

How's this? This was the first time I did something like this but I thought I did it pretty well. Also I tried to color the words "the escapist" in the same color as your avatar but this was the closest I could get it. :/

is there any reason why I can't get an animated gif as an avatar from an external site?

i've tried uploading my own and all I get is a jpg (was a gif when I started) so I then tried linking from an external site when I already have it in use and no joy there either.

The problem is that the Escapist can't re-size it then upload it without turning it into a JPG file.

Okay, but just as a heads up:
I have never taken a clip from youtube before and turned it into an avatar, hell, i don't even understand the program i use to do it.
So i may not be able to do it at all.

However, i did manage to get [user]staika[/user] to have a go (still ask him nicely though, he'll like that ) and he can do these sort of things, HOWEVER he did say it's going to be a serious struggle to get it to fit into the size restraints as it's quite a large gif.

So... you may not get it at all, or be forced to cut off bits from the clip.
Just as a warning.

And I can't make it bigger, it is already at the maximum size for non-pub-club members and its the maximum of 100K in size as well.
