So whisky's kinda been in my glass for a while now, but its way 2 much of a winter drink and is quickly going out of fashion, i fancy rum for summer - SUGAR DRUNK. But im gonna need a new delicious easy to make cocktail or drink for the British March - June season. Anyway im having a week off drinking and am looking for a tasty mix of alcohol and such to look forward to when its over.

Point is:
Anyone know any surprising/awesome/delicious/relatively easy, cocktails that can be produced in bulk that i wont have stumbled into yet?

Only thing i don't drink is white wine and rose <-----(little flick on the e there)

Thanks in advance. Keep it chilled.

Gin and tonic. Best drink in the world. And it's good for you - prevents malaria. But you're British, so you probably already know this.

There are some accented "E"s for you. :)

Now I don't drink, but I love a tall glass of iced tea in the summer. Aren't there some good ways of throwing alcohol into the mix? I know its easy to make in bulk, is cold and sweet.

There's always Long Island Iced Tea, that's a pretty strong drink though.

Spiced rum and coke is good.
Spiced rum and pepsi is better.

I don't know if this has a name, but bubbly lime flavored water, with some tequila and slices of lemon is quite tasty.

It's a shame you are avoiding gin otherwise i would suggest 'ebola'

Friends of mine have a cocktail that is delicious, and...well they named it, so don't blame me that they call it, "Holocaust Punch". The mixing is inexact and to your alcohol tastes, but basically it is V8 splash, a can of peaches, a can of pineapple, clear rum and vodka. Generally we fill a giant water cooler with the stuff before going camping.

Espresso Martini:
1 Shot Espresso.
1 Shot Tia Maria.
1 Shot Butterscotch Schnapps.
1 Shot Vodka.

Shake REALLY well over A LOT of Ice and serve in a chilled glass with 3 Coffee Beans.

...or just get a professional to make it for you, I'm still trying to work it out at home...

Golden drink, even if you don't like coffee, like me.

Enjoy.

Sangria is one of my favorite spring/summer drinks; I don't really follow a recipe for it. Just take a bottle of good red wine that's on the sweet side (if you wouldn't drink it on its own, don't use it in a sangria), and add orange juice until it looks kind of opaque. Then slice up whatever fruits you want/have available and toss them in with some ice. My favorites are blood orange (when in season-regular oranges are fine), red apple, strawberries, and cherries. I know you said you don't like drinking white wine, but if anyone's interested when I do make a white sangria I like using nectarine, apricot, and red plum (all on the firm side, but not under-ripe).

-Moscow Mules: Vodka, Ginger Beer, Lime
-White Rum+Vimto
-Midori by itself or with lemonade (seriously <3 midori-sweet melon spirit)
In fact sod it. Midori with anything.
Theres some cocktail recipes for it available here: http://www.midori-world.com/cocktail-recipe/index.html
-Sambuca and ginger beer (surprisingly quite nice)
-Ouzo and ice and water

All taste better cold. Sorry I didn't stay too strict to the "cocktail" requirement but these drinks are nice.

Cocio with Pisang Ambon and a dash of Vodka. Shake really well and serve in a chilled shots glass. Should be Foamy.

Tastes like a Banana Split :p Enjoy :D
