So anyone else have any more ideas of good strategy games?
I was wondering if AI War was good?

But another thing is that Dungeon Keeper won't run in daemon tools, I have windows 7 so I don't know how to work it, or if I should probably move up to try Dungeon Keeper 2.
Dungeon Keeper isn't really a strategy game. It's a sandbox game with some (very) rudimentary strategy elements grafted onto it.

Since you primarily seem to enjoy RTS games, and don't seem to mind going old school, I recommend the overlooked and underrated Sacrifice and Myth (I and II).
I thought it was a Strategy Game, was kind of interested in it since I was wondering somewhere else and it had a nice topic and fan stories of it, so I wanted to try it.
I would go old school, but my windows 7 keeps saying my comp won't run the DK iso...so I dunno.

Or are there any other games similar to Dungeon Keeper?

Sins seems interesting so I will get that.

Hmm. Age of Empires 2 with the expansion, really classic and great, especially if you like some history in your battles.

Starcraft 2, Total War Shogun 2.
Mostly I recommend Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. The mods are absolutely amazing, if you like the WH40K universe you'll love it.

an oldy but goldy I honestly do not know how its called in english, couldnt find it in a quick search. But i loved the unusual combination of diablo like rpg with real time strategy and the unique claymotion graphics. I playthrough MANA at least once a year
You get more and more spellingredients over time, which can be used to learn one out of 3 spells, but you cant get the other 2 you can create with said ingredient, so the decision which kind of spells (good , neutral, evil) you want to concentrate on and which ingredients you use really make up for a huge variety of tactics and a great multiplayer arenagame.
Thats Magic and Mayhem, it was a classic game. It had a sequel as well i think

No problem, I seem to remember it being pretty good and like the first had solid multiplayer. I imagine it's quite hard to find now, I think Home of the Underdogs had a link for a while but who knows where you can find a copy now.

Age of Empires 2 is good, but a little outdated. Try Age of Mythology instead. It's basically the same thing except with mythological creatures thrown in. You can play the Greeks, Norse, or Egyptians. You can customize further by selecting which deities you worship.

Empire Earth 1 is really good, and has some nice, challenging campaigns. Especially the Russian one (The second Russian mission is probably the hardest single level I've played in a RTS. It's brutal.) It can have quite a large scale. The map editor is pretty fun as well.

Rise of Nations is really fun. Like Empire Earth, it has ages from the stone age up to the modern age. Its campaign has no real story, but is more risk styled with various provinces offering bonuses. Gameplay revolves around building cities to expand.

RoN's sequel, Rise of Legends is based upon steampunk and magic. You have three factions, an Italian steampunk faction, an Arabian magic faction, and a Mesoamerican alien tech faction. There's an actual story for this one. The only thing I didn't like was how restricted city building was in relation to the first one. It's still a solid game with a fun premise.

The first three I listed have expansions. They're all great and add a lot to the original game.

Crap, forgot about AoM. An excellent game that still holds up.
