Yes in the DLC they do. When you first enter it. When I beat it the first time I was level 40 (because of the DLC). During my second run I was hitting guys who were 35 to 36 (and in the DLC they started out a level above me). But as soon as I levelled they didn't so soon enough it was back to me being to powerful. Keep in mind I played it all solo (except to do one boss fight for an achievie).Malodrik said:Wat?squid5580 said:I would have to go with Dragon Age. Borderlands is good but the enemies don't scale and I ended up fighting guys 10 levels below me on my second playthrough
The enemies scaled to maybe one or two levels below me on my second playthrough. And from what I've heard, the enemies for the first DLC scale as well.
It's not on the list because I already have/love it. Great game though. Any advice about the games ON the list?miracleofsound said:Fallout 3.
I don't care if it's not on the list.
Good point about Mass Effect. And Mass Effect 2 comes out in January, so it might not be a bad idea to just wait for that to come out instead. Mass Effect is struck from the list.Mr.Tea said:Well... Mass Effect has been out 2 years now, it's got to be pretty cheap so you could get it with your own money and ask grandpa for an expensive brand-new game.
Dragon Age has the most offline play and Borderlands has the most online. Assassin's Creed 2 looks good, but I'm waiting for the PC version and "Brooetal" Legend isn't cross-platform so (as far as I'm concerned) it can fuck right off.
To summarize, then:
-If you prefer multiplayer, put me down for Borderlands.
-If you prefer a lengthy singleplayer, put me down for Dragon Age.
-Buy Mass Effect yourself at a discount (Should be no more than 20$ by now). (I'd even give you my copy if I could since I dislike it on 360 haha.)
If you can barely run Medival Total War, how are you going to play Empire? Same with Dawn of War 2. On the Wii, I would say Twilight Princess. On 360 I would probably say Assassins Creed 2.Falcon123 said:Yeah, I can shorten this at least by half. New list:
Xbox 360:
Dragon Age: Origins
Brutal Legend
Borderlands
Mass Effect
Red Factions Guerilla
Assassin's Creed II
Batman Arkham Asylum
Wii:
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
The Conduit
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Battalion Wars II
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Computer:
Empire: Total War
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II
Is that short enough, or do I need to shorten it more?

Too Human, really, why?Falcon123 said:Ok, so the way Christmas works in my family is relatively simple; I ask for one game from my grandpa, and I'll get it, doesn't matter what it is. I've come up with a list of games I don't have that I want, but I'm not sure which one is the best. So I'm turning my decision over to you, my fellow Escapists: What game out of the following should I get?
Background: I have a Wii, Xbox 360, and a very terrible computer (It can barely run Medieval II total war, just to give you an idea of how bad it is. Lists are in absolutely no order

This is hilarious. In all honesty, I feel badly too, but he insists on giving me one every year. I think it's because he was a stickler when I was really young, and he's trying to make up for it. Works for mePegghead said:I think you should ask him forA smack to the face you indulged childAssasins creed 2. I was going to ask for it for christmas too, next to maybe...a dvd of red dwarf (To add to my ever growing collection of just one). I just feel really rotten ever asking for anything from anyone, be it for a birthday or christmas.
