Need Borderlands Help!

Corrosive weapons are best used against Skags. I was Lilith, so I had a lot of elemental weapons that helped me kill him, but I still waited until I was level 23-24 to go and kill him.

step by step instructions:
1: go to xbox menu
2: remove disc
3: put disc back into box
4: return it

What I do is shoot it rapidly until he breaks my shield, and then run around in circles spastically until it recharges. Actually, now that I think about it, that's how I deal with every enemy encounter in Borderlands. It's a little demeaning, but a very good strategy!

You don't need to be a better shot. You just need to shoot more bullets.

He is incredibly easy really, with any character you decide to play as. Just wait until you have ALL the other quests in the area complete (except for the Mad Mel one). You don't even need to go turn them in, I never do. I just finish them all and then do Skagzilla.

It's quite easy to kill Skagzilla without being hit even once, especially with Lilith. Save your Phasewalk for when he's about to charge you and you can get out of the way easily. Keep moving and jump to the side whenever he tries diving on you, and occasionally shotgun his back legs when he lands if you can. Other than that, just keep moving and wait patiently for him to open his mouth and SMG the shit out of it before it closes (remembering to jump over/sidestep the beam) and he'll go down in maybe two beams.

Also shock weapons are horrendous against flesh/armour and launchers are practically useless against everything really (DAMN YOU GEARBOX). Just get a corrosive/fire/explosive SMG and go nuts. Any shotgun will work, even a neutral one providing it has enough power behind it. Hell, even sniping it works well. Just don't use shock or launchers. xD

Double shot revolver and keep moving. After my shields dropped low i would run around until they recharged. My double shot revolver could take anything down and my shotgun is incredible better for shielded enemies. I didn't even use my turret, i always forget to it makes me feel like a dumbass when i hide behind cover long enough to recharge my shield when i could have thrown out my turrent and kept shooting and recharged. I retrosepectively think about my shield like why didn't i use that.

dude, all I did was walk in with my soldier, layed down my turret, unloaded my desert anarchy and killed him in about 10 seconds. I was also like level 18. try and find better weapons.

When Skagzilla jumps in the air run underneath him, he gets stuck on top of you for a few seconds and leaves the unarmored underbelly completely exposed. Repeat until dead.

That's... Just a lie. My Maliwan Incendiary Triple-Shot rocket launcher does nothing but kill Atlas Centurions and those stupid Eridean things with the mortars (Guardians?), but it does those things REALLY well (and it's only level 32, bless it!). It also gets used when I'm close to death and need something dead without worrying if the blast hits me.

Skagzilla's best taken on with a rapid fire weapon, I used the Assault Rifle, but SMGs should work too. Keep backing in a circle while pumping him full of bullets, aim for roughly the mouth, but any shot that hits will chip away at him. Sprint before you reload and you'll keep far enough away from him.

Ok, you know that sidequest where you have to kill 'Skagzilla'? How do I easily kill this beast? Should I wait until I'm past my current level (22 or 23), what weapons should I use, should I try to kill it w/ another guy? Agh! I barely dented him the last time I tried and I kept shooting him in his open mouth w/ a rocket launcher & my uber awesome electric shotgun. (oh and if it matters, I'm the Siren.)

I just shot him in the mouth a lot with sniper rifle. Though I was hunter, so probably why I found it easy.

EDIT: Might also try using a guy with the element of acid. I think I recall the dude having armor, so acid would do well.

Co-op, good guns. Took me and my buddy about ten minutes at level 23.
He was the soldier and i was (whatever the dude with the bird is)

Rocket launchers and a painfully awesome sniper rifle, plus his machinegun = dead skagzilla.

what u should do is first target the skags that follow then when there all dead start to kill the Skagzilla only shoot when it opens its mouth so u can get critical hits or just level up more and try again...

Just level up.
You can manage to get by in some games without being certain levels, or having certain gear.
Unfortunately Borderlands isn't one of these games.
If you don't meet the level requirements of a certain mission, the games just going to beat your ass about until you realise what you did.

Also take some med packs or a health regen shield in if your desperate. If he hits you hard just hold sprint and get out of dodge until your health builds back up, then get back into the fight.
