I have been having some problems with StarCraft 2. The game keeps giving me an error message saying something along the lines of: "Your computer is running low on/has run out of paged pool memory" so I was wondering how would I go about increasing said memory. If it is any help I run on windows XP and my computer should be able to run on medium graphics no problem (which is what I am trying to run on as I refuse to go down to low graphics which look terrible).

Start -> Control Panel
Click System -> Advanced Tab
Click Settings in the Performance section
Click the Advanced tab and then click Change under in the Virtual Memory section

There you go, you can manually set your Virtual/page memory, it's usually setup correctly but if you need to increase it, what you want to change would be the maximum size.

Edit: Just so you know, your computer makes virtual memory out of hard drive space, so make sure you have some space available before doing this.

Mekado I got what I have to do but what do I change it to?
..Anything higher, though to make a real difference at least 1024Mb more.I'm surprised it dosen't run correctly even with 4GB max virtual RAM, that's pretty high... Does it chokes almost immediately or it does that after a few hours of playing ?

Well, there's my answer, it makes sense now.

If you only have 1GB of physical RAM i'd strongly suggest using at least 4GB-6GB (4096-6144)of virtual RAM, it's slower than real memory but it'll help...
