only thing i can help with is bad news, lower your expectations, you dont mention any education but a close friend of mine used several years becoming a programmer, he now works the graveyard shift as a cashier in 7/11, but he still sends out CVs to every place that has ever programmed anything, so first thing you need is a good CV, get help from family or a teacher, or go down to the unemployment centre and get some help, there are people who work at getting people work and they have tons of great advice, if you really need a job, apply everywhere, everywhere.
i worked at a casino in the back of a kiosk serving coffee and selling smokes once, it might not be dignified, but if you need the money, you need the money, just keep checking in at the unemployment centre and dont be afraid to ask for help, maybe your uncles best friend needs a mail guy at the office.
Im sorry i cant help with more, i wish you the best of luck, and hey i have been in the same boat for a long time so if it gets to much for you and you need to talk about it, just send me a message.
