Need Help installing windows 7 (on a windows 8 laptop)

So I baught a laptop a few days ago and it came with windows 8

I tried to install windows 7 manually but halfway through the installation my computer restarted and I got this screen:

and how do I do that? I looked at the boot menu and didn't see the legacy option

What kind of laptop do you have? It seems to me like you've got the BIOS-protection on, and on my Dell I need to switch that off from within the OS before I can do anything with the BIOS, although that does include access to BIOS.

If your boot menu is F10, the odds are the bios is on F2. F8, F1, ESC and DEL are also commonly used.

Once you are in there do as Topaz Fusion suggests
