I woke up this morning with having a flashback to my childhood, I remembered having a Sonic the Hedgehog board game! After some vigorous searching on the internet, I came up with nothing! So I am asking for the assistance from the escapist community. Please help me find proof of this lost relic! Thanks!

What kind of chess set would have two sides the exact same? Strikes me as a bad photoshop job.
(Edit: ah just noticed the bases are different colours. But still that's so lazy, I can't believe they made that)
The board game really does ring a bell. I think I remember seeing it. I also have an ancient comic from pre-release giving backstory on Robotnik and explaining how Sonic became blue etc.
