after today i'm not getting another game for quite a while and i'm down to these 2 choices

F3 looks awesome but the environment is kinda depressing, can you become a stealth assasin like in oblivion and rob houses n stuff? are there guilds and how many skills are there? how comparable is it to oblivion?

and SR2 looks cool but kinda chunky and control looks a little old skl ... plus i have gta4

thnx ppl

I had more fun with SR2 then GTA IV. But when you're done with the storymode, there isn't much more to do than some mediocre, in my opinion, minigames and replaying the missions of the storymode in online co-op

Between these two, I would say Fallout 3. It was just epic

Fallout 3 is the superior game, I've been playing it for 200 hrs and I'm still very busy with exploring and certain quests and "myths" in the game.

Fallout 3 is probably my favourite game of all time, so I may be a little biased when I say this but, deffinately get Fallout 3, it's a master-piece in so many ways.
It is without a doubt the most immersive game I've played, it has an atmosphere so thick you could almost cut it with a knife, and well, I'm 200 hundred hours in and I'm still finding new things.

i've only got fallout, but i'd reccomend it to anyone. there aren't guilds like in oblvion, and being a stealthy ninja is all but impossible, but it's still amazing in every possible way

You can be a stealthy ninja, its just harder. UNLESS you get operation: Anchorage and pick up the stealth suit. That thing, with the sword, is awesome.

i just used operation anchorage as an excuse to get the Gauss Rifle. such an awesome gun, it can knock a SM Behemoth of it's feet

I'd say Saints Row 2 for the pure fact that it has Multiplayer. Once your done in Fallout theres not much to do except replay, relevel, and wait for DLC.

Saints Row looks is just another GTA ripoff, don't bother with it.

Fallout 3 doesn't resemble Oblivion one bit, but it's still a wonderful game. Buy it.

If you're getting it for PS3, then swap GTA for SR2, and play both. Then, swap whichever you liked less back for GTA.

EDIT: at a local gamestop or equivilant.

Both games are, in my opinion, very entertaining. Saints Row 2 is one of the silliest things i have ever played and makes me laugh hell of a lot whereas Fallout 3 is a very serious game which rarely makes me laugh (unlike the previous 2) but it is very well done and will provide hours of fun whilst you are running around its full and rich world.

Personally i say go with Fallout 3. Unless of course you want to create a character that runs around in womens underwear that goes right up your arse crack.

If you own a PC, get Fallout 3. Saint's row performance even on high end machines is abysimal. Besides, fallout 3 is a game that will have you play it for many, many more hours than you are comfortable with.

If you own a console, get Saints row 2. It's not GTA IV, but it is pure and mindless fun from mission 1. Or Fallout 3 ofcourse. Whatever tickles your fancy.

You'll get a crapload of fun out of either one. It's like choosing whether to have chocolate cake or chocolate pudding, either way, you win.

go with fallout 3. IT doesn't have working cars or anything but it is defiantly much more violent then saints row two. Both are great though. Fallout three provides violence you'll be sayin "Holy F#$!" at. It pure mindless bloody fun.
