Saints Row 2. With all of the depression, collapsing economies, war, global warming, terrorism and race hate going on, it's nice to have something a little light-hearted and silly to play

SR2 is fun, but if you still have your GTA's I'd go for Fallout3. You'll find a shed load to do and the game just drags you in. However it can get well depressing. Oblivion is the same in all but name but a lot brighter.

SR2 and Fallout 3 are both fantastic. Get them both. I seriously couldn't decide between them. I'll just say that having GTAIV isn't really relevant. Saints Row 2 is much better.
^I totally agree with this. Both games are epic and both must be played.

Fallout 3 of course. Incredible game. Saint's Row 2 is good but if it would be a battle betwen the too, Fallout 3 would win.

after today i'm not getting another game for quite a while and i'm down to these 2 choices

F3 looks awesome but the environment is kinda depressing, can you become a stealth assasin like in oblivion and rob houses n stuff? are there guilds and how many skills are there? how comparable is it to oblivion?

and SR2 looks cool but kinda chunky and control looks a little old skl ... plus i have gta4

thnx ppl
SR2 is more fun. Simple as that.

FO3 is great until you get about 70% of the way through and realise that you've been putting way too much effort into it. There are also several broken quests that frustrated me no end. Also the plot gets rubbish after a particular event that I won't spoil in case you do play. The dialogue is crap and the much touted 'freedom of choice' is a total illusion, there being only one significant moral choice in the entire game. Oh yeah and the level scaling difficulty system combined with v.a.t.s targeting/stim-packs means that FO3 is never challenging. If you are smart with your character building then you can steal everything you ever need, money becomes irrelevant, the only way you can die is if you decide not to heal yourself with the million stim-packs you carry, all the weapon customisation is useless since v.a.t.s targeting means its easy to kill every enemy and there isn't a single custom weapon that isn't totally obsolete once you acquire a plasma rifle.

Oh yeah and the end of FO3 is terrible, really really terrible. I honestly wish I had never bothered to finish and had given up before the last mission. Then again, I'm not sure why I expected anything more than pretty gfx from a Bethesda game.

If you want to buy one of the two I seriously recommend SR2 because at the end of the game you will be a million times more satisfied that you spent your money well. On the other hand, if you want a really really easy game with a moderately good plot and nice gfx then FO3 might be your cup of tea.

I get bored of Fallout 3 quick. Especially now I have Vengence and T-51b. I'd say get Saint's Row. You'll have more fun, even if it won't last as long as F3.

SR2 controls are only chunky on the PC. But I don't like Fallout 3 controls on the PC either. Also, SR2>GTA4 in so many ways. You just have to play it to see.

Fallout 3 doesn't resemble Oblivion one bit, but it's still a wonderful game. Buy it.
Please don't talk about games untill you have played them.

Now I've only played SR2 but you definitely have to get both. SR2 was an amazing game that has loads of fun in it . You can go legit or use cheats but you have flamethrowers, character customization, planes, parachutes, customizable cars (i.e. hydraulics, nitrous, spinners, hubcaps and kneecappers) chainsaws, RPGs, APCs, sniper rifles, pepper spray, motorbikes (Kenshin can ride up walls) gangs, gang customization, loads of activities and story missions and heaps more. It is a fun, silly and entertaining game with loads to offer. Also Fallout3 sounds amazing from everything I've heard, so once again get both and exchange GTA if need be, otherwise keep it as it has it's uses.

I think I enjoyed SR2 more than Fallout 3. Depends if you want a gritty shooter or a crazy wacky fun-fest.

I've spent 140:53 minutes on Saint's Row 2. Not including the time spent with cheats, since those are fun, but disable achievements.

I didn't play Fallout 3 for more than 48 hours, but it was okay. Not as good as Oblivion, which is why I stopped playing it and put Oblivion back in instead.

Completely different games, but SR2 is always there when you need some hilarious fun.

Main difference being it's a hell of a lot more fun. I'd say get Saints Row 2. I had more fun with that than I did Fallout 3 but I'm a bit biased towards Fallout cause of the item decay stuff.

I motherfucking loved SR2 to bits. I've spent at lest 100 hours on it.

But I would STILL have to say Fallout 3.

*BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ*

Oh, I'm sorry, you have to play the game before you can form an opinion...
Thanks for playing this one, at least.
