Just as the title suggest I need help on the Game Skyrim, let me explain; these past few weeks all of my friends have been telling me how awesome skyrim is and I like fantasy RPG so I decided to give it a try. I have never played an elder scrolls game before but i've always been told how great the series is and Skyrim definitley continues that tradition. I've been playing the game for a for a while now and its all very new and different to me, im only level 6 and honestly im kind of struggling. This is mainly because I keep dying and some of the other reasons include having no idea how to acsess most of the features. I've been trying to dual wield since the begining and I picked my race as a nord, my friend said I should specialize in blacksmithing (which I have no idea how to do). I dont want to ramble to much the jist of it is I need advice as to how to make this game more fun for me, right now im stuck on the main quest where you go to the greybeards up in their cave home and somewhat up the trail theres this frost troll that keeps killing me and I really dont know what to do. Please dont explain to me why im so stupid, I get it; im not good at this game, I just need help not ridicule so if you can offer some advice or tips to help me die less and have more fun it'll be much appreciated.

thank you

Firstly dont follow the mainquest until you level some. Just mass up on health. Stamina seems pointless, makes you block slightly better or somth useless. Well to use blacksmiting you go to a forge and use it. Generally in every town there is a forge.

And to break the game easily just do this :

If you want to break the game entirely level up on Enchanting by buying a bunch of lesser soulstones and fill them with souls using a spell or a enchanted weapon with soultap ability and just go into the fort to the table and spam enchants on stuff and sell it, Can also break economy early on easy and you can keep making new stuff at the forge. Making iron daggers and leather gauntlets to 100 blacksmithing is very easy. Then enchant the daggers and you have a money printing machine.

Once you get good armor, and upgrade it through the Workshop table it gets really easy. Enchant it with some + %dmg to weapon dmg and its like cutting butter with a hot knife.

My advice? Screw the main mission. For the moment anyway. Go do a few side missions. Level up first. Explore. Enjoy the scenery. Level 6 is way too early to start taking on Frost Trolls, especially if you're new to Elder Scrolls games. I must admit, I haven't had a good look at blacksmithing as a skill - it may be good - but I would also recommend you specialise in some way of healing yourself. Restoration is the easiest way, but I personally am a huge fan of alchemy. If you want to do alchemy, grab as much blue flowers, wheat, and imp stool as possible; they're the easiest ways to make health potions.

Also, dual wielding is awesome, but at a low level, especially if you're going against hard enemies, it's very easy to get killed without much defence. I'd say start getting used to using a shield to help your defence, and once you've raised your level enough, grab some of the dual wielding-specific perks in the one-handed weapons skill tree.

Just run past the ice troll, you don't need to kill him. That's what I did. Trolls, especially of the ice variety are ridiculously overpowered. Also you should consider lowering the difficulty. It's in the pause menu where you load and save. I lowered the difficulty on mine once, because I was getting two-shotted by bandit bosses, while it took like 30 hits to kill em. There is no shame in lowering the difficulty when you feel the game is being unfair.

Yeah, Trolls will fuck your shit early level.

I knew that the troll was gonna wail on me more than I could handle because I did a sidequest where I had to kill two trolls, but I couldn't do it without a follower.

So, do what I did, and fucking run past him. Trolls are slow as shit. Hold alt to sprint.
