Ahh. When I first saw this thread I thought it said "Need games for a bunny". I was just about to put my hand through my own face when I reread it.

Name the bunny Fred. Then if he gets out of his cage, shout "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN' OUT HERE, FRED?!"

...Then shoot him.

Morgoth The Black
Death, The Destroyer of Worlds
Giraffe

Oh, I just read the bit about military ranks.
Captain Conejo (coh-neh-HOH). It's nice and alliterative.
General Knowledge
His Grace, The Duke of Ankh, Commander Sir Samuel Vimes.

Commander Bun-Bun?
Hail and well met, fellow Sluggite.
I actually just pulled that one out of my ass. Sorry to disappoint you, but I have no idea what you're talking about. :D
Uh, there's an extremely well-known webcomic that's been running since the late 90's called Sluggy Freelance [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sluggy_Freelance]. I don't know if I can recommend picking it up, though, since it has enough simultaneous plotlines to make the X-files look pansy in comparison. Anyway, there's a psychopathic rabbit with a switchblade named Bun-Bun who has gone through various ranks and types of despotism.

You could name it after one of the many famous literary military rabbits & hares, such as:

General Woundwort
Bigwig
Colonel Meadowclary
Brigadier Thyme
Rockjaw Grang
Brigadier "Wotwot" Crumshaw
Lieutenant Morio
Cuthbert Blanedale Frunk
Corporal Butty Wopscutt
Basil Stag Hare

Also, you could call it Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog (but that's a bit of a mouthful), or just call it Dog the Bounty Hunter, which is a great name for pets, unless they're a dog, then it's just lame.

Or Hazel. Or Bigwig. Better yet El-ahrairah, the Prince With a Thousand Enemies. All the world will be enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you.

Bah. If you want a good name for a rabbit, always go with Fiver or Inlé. The latter should only be used if he's black, though.

If I ever get a bunny, I get dibs on El-ahrairah. Fiver is good. Especially if your bunny somehow develops clairvoyancy as a special skill.
