Need some tech help, my monitor might be dying

Looks like a faulty monitor all right.

Only thing to do now is slap the crap out of the side of it or buy a new one.

I'm no tech expert but I seriously doubt it is your video card, it might be your monitor, have you checked the plugs? It looks like what a TV usually goes through when not plugged in all the way in.

Can you please word your post better so we have a better understanding as to what your problem is?

It's quite simple, his screen is all messed up, and he's wondering if it's his graphics card or his monitor, and he would like our help fixing the problem.

Otherwise I'd just get a new moniter, because your moniter seems faulty.

This was the problem, I also took the oppurtunity to dust everything at the back of the tower (system unit). Thanks for the help and I joined that group in case anything else goes wrong.
