Need some tech support help with Mass Effect 2

So anydangway, I just finished downloading ME2 and was about to import my Shep from ME1 when I made a horrible discovery: It wouldn't let me!

It said something about it not being able to find my old ME1 save and I need to run a configuration something-or-other to put it in the right place. That's all it said.

Rest assured, I HAVE finished ME1 and I have NOT touched the save file at all since I finished the game. So, any advice, fellow escapists?

Check the files in 'My Documents' it should be there make sure it's addressed properly, also try running ME2 as administrator could be that your not allowing it to access files on your computer.

What operating system are you using?

If Windows 7, your ME1 saves should be in "Libraries/Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect/Save"

As for the configurator, launch the game and it should bring up a launcher. Choose "configure" from the list of options. You should find what your looking for there.

Your ME1 saves need to be copied into the ME2 folder.
