Hello fellow Escapists!
I wrote this song a few months ago about nerd love but only decided to let it be public a day or two ago. Hopefully some of the gamer geeks on here will appreciate the lyrics (or just facepalm).

I think the lyrics are great, top notch, and you have a sweet singing voice.

I'd only say practise more at guitar and develop a more innovative tune to accompany the song, extending it's length into the 3 minute range with a nice acoustic solo, then you'll have an excellent song both lyrically and instrumentally.

A cute little song. But its so quiet its really hard to hear anything, had to turn my volume to 100 and still missed a big chunk of the lyrics. Also it wouldn't hurt to spice things up a bit - add a bigger range of accords/tunes and emotions to the singing (the melody seems a bit monotonous).
In general though, I liked it.

Dawwwww. That was adorable!

The audio needs fixing; it was way too quiet. But that's just a mechanical issue, not reflective of the song itself.

I was impressed that you managed to have different lyrics right to the end; so many songs these days seem to be 3/4s chorus, 1/4 anything else.

It was a good song, is what I'm saying.

I'll always have your back like Starfox has Slippy,

I'd change this line since most people agree that Slippy should go die in a fire.

Similarly for "I'll always be by your side like Link has Navi".


Though I thought the "And like a noob in the Water Temple of doom lost without the key,
I'm lost without you." was quite sweet.
