"The Dark Knight" was just multiple nerdgasms for me. I left that theater feeling like I'd just had the best sex of my life, lmao.

I also had a nerdgasm when Nathan Fillion started singing in Dr. Horrible... but then I found out it wasn't his voice and died a little inside.

The announcement of Marilyn Manson directing "Phantasmagoria: The Works of Lewis Carroll" got me a little too excited as well. "Alice in Wonderland" has always been a favorite of mine; the darker it gets, the better. Tim Burton's also doing a solid "Alice in Wonderland", whereas Manson's is a compilation of Carroll's works. Both made me pretty happy to hear about.

The anouncement that a CG Legend of Drizzt movie is being made,produced by 20th Century FOx (Titan AE) directed by Peter Jackson(LotR, King Kong), special effects done by Weta Workshop(LOTR, Chronicles of Narnia) and Industrial Lights and Magic(The Labyrinth), and starring Christian Bale as the voice of Drizzt Do'Urden.

yes that too. i hope its not gonna be one of those times when the develepor just slaps something together at the last minute and when the game turns out to be a hit he turns his head and goes "Wa?!". maybe it'll never be revealied, not cause they dont want too but because they dont have an origin story their, almost like their slaping scenes together (kinda like Lost). but then again they've given so many subtle hints, its just gonna be an expolsion of exitment when its revealied. some of those G-man theories online are pretty crazy as well. mmmmmm im having mini nerdgasm just thinking about it

I'm an SA Goon and I still find this phenomenally sad, which is saying a lot.

Last time I *got excited in a nerdy fashion* was watching Iron Man, because it was awesome. But seriously, even Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man does not compare to mutual pleasure with someone you love. Sad.

I've just seen (thanks to my equally nerdy father) that Terry Goodkind's "Wizard's First Rule" is becoming a TV Series. Disney bought the rights to it, which means that around here it'll be aired on ABC or ABC Family, whereas I originally thought I'd have to watch it on BBC America. Goodkind says there's 22 episodes, and that to make everything episodic as well as have a story arc throughout they're going to have to add content, which he's totally okay with. Sam Raimi's signed on as a producer.
