A game of Super Smash Bros. with just computer players duking it out on an infinite time limit.

By centerpiece do you mean the thing you put in the middle of a dining table?

This, but with 4 controllers set out, each with a different action figure holding it.
One Spartan (halo)
One Pokemon
One Stormtrooper
One... I dunno. Something else recognisable but horrendously nerdy

EDIT: Dammit, why can't I get an avatar to work properly?

Me and my Fiancé are hoping to have a Minecraft inspired Wedding cake. Might not happen but I'm hoping we can get someone to do it well enough

Informing but you can take it as a challenge. ;) I doubt you can think of a more nerdy AND entertaining centerpiece though.

Yeah, but does it HAVE to be on a table? And if it does, what should one call this?

Completely from scratch?
yep, wire skeleton (from a coat hanger) and clay

and his cloths made from a couple of old white shirts and an old handbag

he's kind of hunched over however because its impossible to get the f*** to stand up straight, but it looks ok

I then realised it would also make a good model for issac clake as he has the stance right

EDIT: I know its not the same thing but I also have a stencil I did of one of the tags from saints row 2, on my wall.....

that's what I was thinking. If that's the case, the answer is clearly a Dungeons and Dragons DM screen.

Ive designed a couple of these. Someday ill actually make them. They dont have to be the centerpiece, i thought of them as LCD screens in frames on the wall.

An infinite randomly generated Mario Bros level. infinitely played by an A.I. mario bros player.

A.I. "blood cells" bots (thats what i call them) constantly growing and dying and evolving to their environment.

Pics? Sounds nifty.

OT: I'd opt for the giant model map they made for the Halo 3: Believe campaign. In my dining room.

I have a large dining room that needs more Halo-y goodness in it.

Ok I admit it isnt quite finished, plus yeah you can see my dodgey sewing, and yes it looks like he's gone overboard on fake tan

and most noticibly his feet are horribly malformed and large (like I said getting things to stand up is hard) acutally using clay is very hard, really underneith the cloths it looks like some terrifying non human monster, but hey its all a learning experience

Eh, I like my Smash Bros. center piece anyway. You can even make mini-bets on which character will get KOed next. The only problem with it is that it requires a spare TV.

It's still pretty awesome. And I sympathize about the clay - do my fair share of prop-building with model clay, and it's a fickle material.
Clothes look good, too. Instantly recognizable. Can't tell if he has a wrist blade or not, but I hope so. Just make sure none of your action figures pick a fight with him.

A complete collection of the Pokemon game series lined out to spell a P that holds a vintage hat of the main character and is covered in "Pokemon parts" you bought online including a "marowak skull"

actualy he does, you cant really see in the photo, aslo its covered in paint and clay, its on the hand thats more open,

its an extension of the wire skeleton and Ive yet to clean it up properly

anyway as I said got a little more work to do, and theres no way in HELL Id ever attempt ezio

and personally I think Banjo (from banjo kazooie) would kick his ass (yes I have a banjo figurine, from didy kong racing...lost his car though, its acutlaly my brothers, I got "whizz-pig"...yeah)
