Now divide that by zero...
Nullity, apparently http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/British_computer_scientist%27s_new_%22nullity%22_idea_provokes_reaction_from_mathematicians
Yeah, I can divide by zero, what of it? It is part of the complex number plane though, and is widely called "bullshit".

Off topic I have a beef with 42, the brilliance of that is the question which was 6*9 or something similar. The point was that even though you had a rule, the universe would always break it; the universe is undefinable. Similar to the idea that if someone discovered what the universe was for it would change and become even more comprehensible.

I think that much.
Yeah, that last paragraph was very inteligent there, and you are in fact right about the philisophical(or would it be metaphysical?) stuff. I agree entirely.

But, the point of dividing by zero is that it would result in an infinite ammount of nothing. And nothing, does not exist because everything is something. Even 'nothing' is something. So, in turn, this creates a conundrum. And, by dividing by zero, you have messed with infinities: They mess back. It's like deleting the 'system 32' file of the universe, you can do it, it's just a really bad idea.

For more bullshit quantum physics, call during normail buisness hours.

The original laser disk release of Star Wars: A New Hope was sped up by .5 percent in order to save disk space. Han Solo was originally meant to appear on Kashyyyk on the prequel trilogy. Stephen King got the idea for his Dark Tower series from the poem "To the Dark Tower Childe Roland Came." Darth Vader's apprentice's name was Galen Marek. The majority of a human's skeletal muscles operate the most efficiently at 10% capacity. One of the most commonly used misquote used to support the possibility of psychic abilities is that only 10% of the brain is ever used. While only 10% is used at any given time, while conscious, all parts of the brain are used at some point in time.

OT: If the difference between the electronegativities (tendency of an atom to attract electrons) of the two elements in a binomial compound is greater than 1.7, the compound is ionic (not 100% foolproof though). Grade 11 Chemistry FTW.
Each time lightning strikes, some Ozone gas is produced, thus strengthening the Ozone Layer in the Earth's atmosphere.
Global warming has been nullified, we must tell the world!!

"Beam me up Scotty" was never used in Star Trek in exactly those words, in niether the TV series or the films.
Really?! Then why is the term so popular!?

Is it like the "Danger, Will Robbins!" thing that was actually only used once in the whole series but is quite well known?
Yep, never ACTUALLY used. like the "and knowing is half the battle" in GI JOE. That was never said in ANY sense.
well at least here it was always said in G.I. Joe, they would have the stupid lessons at the end somehting like "dont start fires because they hurt" the dumb kid would say "now i know" and the G.I. Joe guy would say "and knowing is half the battle"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KXCD5BQiM4
See, but that's not the actual episodes. Maybe in spin off things like that, but never in the actual show.
That still counts, esp. those lesson things were a part of every episode.
Were they? Oh, I always thought they were something seperate. My mistake.

Well that's kind of a trap because if you know the answer is 42 that makes you a nerd....damn it i'm a nerd lol

OP: Han Solo says "it's the ship that made the kessle run in less than 12 parsects" Parsects are a measure of distance, however, this DOES make sence.
The Kessle Run is a series of black holes, because the closer you get to a black hole, the more the gravitational pull, so the faster your ship, the closer you can get to the black holes.
Therfore making it in 12 parsects means the ship is so fast, he can travel within twelve parsects of a black hole, and not get sucked in.

...you're welcome...
yay an answer to the question
lol Has it plauged you long?
yes, yes it has
Well I'm happy to end your suffering ^.^

The phrase "Lightning never strikes the same place twice" Is technically incorrect the bolt of lightning you see is in fact several bolts striking in quick succession anywhere between 3 and 4 times in a split second and that is only what can be captured on modern high speed camera's it may be more.

Under the right conditions lightning bolts can also appear to be blood red which while not nerdy is insanely cool looking.

It's nerdy if you're thinking about the Force while you watch red lightning.

Furthermore, Uatu the Watcher, essentially an in-universe omnbiscient narrator, confirmed that it was indeed Thanos, not a clone, robot doppleganger, or similar cop-out. This was done as a preemptive preventative against retconing. It didn't work.

Not only that but, also confirmed that it was no Doombot as well!

E=mc^2, the e is energy, m is the mass of the particles in question, and c is speed of light in a vacuum. There, nerd crown goes to me.
I'm afraid not good sir, because I knew that one already, and I don't even study physics.

I can explain, in detail, the difference of every level and sub-level of super saiyan. I won't do it here because I'd be writing about a full term paper, but I can, unfortunately.
