"Do you ever say nerdy things?"

All the time - because that's what I know, and nothing is awesome like a good reference. That, and someone sold me a convincing argument for verbalizing "lol" (instead of laughing) once.

To provide my most common statements:
"lol"
"reflex save!" when someone has to react to a random threat in life/tv show.

I have thoughourly explained the plot of Half Life 2/the Half Life series to a friend of mine who played through it but "didn't know what was going on", I could tell about half way through my explination that he wanted to start talkin' about something else, but I'll be damned if I'll let Half Life go unexplained!

I once replied to "Get a life!" with "Where can I download one?"

Yeah that was pretty bad.
What about, "I'm a gamer, I have MANY lives" :D

Today, some college came by and was showing off a video of famous crap that some of its grads made, and it showed a clip of CoD2, but it mislabeled it as CoD3 (the clip showed Capt. Price sitting on a tank in Africa and the US forces on D-Day going up that cliff, and no I don't remember what that particular part of WWII was called.) I said so but the kid next to me said it was CoD3. We had this argument for something like ten minutes.

Do I regret it? Nope.

So, during the winter, I picked up a snowball and threw it at a friend, and it missed him. He turned around and laughed at me, and I replied back:

"Man, I really should have used vats on that."

He didn't get it.

Pause... Head:95% Missed

WTF

Now whos the nerd lol.

I had a joking conversation with my old roommate about summoning demons. We were talking about demon summoners in RPGs (I think the conversation was inspired by I'M IN UR MANGER), and I convinced him to look up demon summoning on Google. Apparently, you shouldn't use summoning circles. Pisses them the fuck off.

Yeah, we're crazy nerds.

I said I hated FFX (Final Fantasy ten, for all you normal people) and every douchebag of a character in it (my actual words were a bit harsher and involved snakes, drills, cranial intrusion, and a vice, you get the gyst)

I promptly had my eyes scratched out by fangirls.

(its not very nerdy...)

Me and a friend usually use co-op Star Wars quotes.
We were playing online CoD:WaW. He was watching me, and this same guy kept killing me throughtout the entire match (the only player that did, mind).
I said something like, 'wow, he doesn't like me'.
He replied, 'And I don't like you either!'

There have been others, many others, but I can't remember any right now. Have I regretted any?
Not at all.

My friend and I were waiting around before class started and he said "Final Fantasy is ok" and I yelled in a frenzy "FINAL FANTASY IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!" Everyone just kinda looked at me sideways.
Except that it's an over-hyped fad.
Yeah, twenty plus years and practically everyone on this website hating it obviously points out that it's an over-hyped fad. Isn't anyone else sick of hearing "Hurr hurr, I'm cool and original for hating a popular game"?
Oh well sorry for sharing my opinion on an open forum. I do hate that game, because it does not appeal to me, I don't like the following it has recieved, and I certainly don't like the way it makes douchebags come to it's defense. *cough* I don't like it, because it has the value of Twilight. I didn't tell you to agree with me, I just put in my little line. Am I not allowed to say what I think about a game? Just because I don't like that game, does not put me into a group. "Hurr Hurr, I call people out to hide my lack of knowledge and pretend that I am cool."
Don't post if you don't have something bright to say, you troll.
"Except that it's an over-hyped fad." <hypocritical don't you think? also pointing out the obvious, but still

aside from that, i 100% agree :p

I talked about Star Wars (Movies and Extended Universe) for a bit with my friends. After that, I made a note to myself pleading never to do that ever again.

Oh yeah, and any time I talk about Lost theories.

LOL, WTF, ROFL, STFU, at one point in time I've said them all.

Though back in my high school days, when another friend and I used Worldcraft a lot (the level editor for the original Half-Life) it was terms like vertex manipulation, aaa_triggers and node paths that got chucked around a lot. Well, at least we were rarely bothered during lunch break...
