I'm quite a private person in real life.

The only person who knows I watch My Little Pony is one other friend who also watches it. We never bring up the show around each other, but sometimes talk about the episodes through e-mail.

My friends I work out, surf, and dive with don't know I play video games and vice versa with the friends with whom I play video games.

Only one friend knows I browse 4chan, and we never bring up 4chan off line. That shit's tacky.

As far as my family knows, I've never been on a date. I've dated several Asian and Latina girls. I've always wondered how they would react to that.

And it's all just the way I like it. I wouldn't deny these things if someone asked, but I just prefer to keep different parts of my life sectioned off from others.

I've enjoyed every Sonic Game I've played (which is close to all of them)except '06 that was a pile of crap. I feel like that should be incredibly wrong but oh well somehow I always had fun.

Other than that in High School I let basically no one know I watched anime. Now college is a different story. :D Although not many know that I enjoyed Ouran High School Host Club. Don't judge me it is frickin hilarious even if it has a bunch of fanservice for women. >.<

Ah, I can't relate to such a thing. All my friends know about all of my hobbies pretty well. Including my big little pony fandom.

Some things they don't know, because I just do too much of a variety of things for everyone to know about. But I certainly don't hide anything. I'm probably more confident with who I am among real life people than I am on the internet.

When I was a kid I looooooooooved this game...

...yeah I was kind of a stupid kid :p

Oh and I've had weird sex dreams about half the characters from Death Note (both male and female), but then again, who hasn't?

Although it's not really nerdy, I really don't like my friends knowing I like My Little Pony. Other than that, I'd really hate if I found out I regular'd these forums.

Nope. My friends and I are all nerdy, and we all revel in it. It's almost a running joke of a competition to be the least normal possible, as we have all agreed normal people seem... boring. Anything I do that is nerdy I will bring up if it is required for something, but otherwise not bother saying anything about. Same for all of us.

I don't care what people know about my nerd-dom. I'll argue with you for hours about whether a Ticonderoga or a Mirado is a better pencil, and I'll bring all of the different models into it too.

PROTIP: Mirado Woodtone has been my go-to writing pencil. Fantastic eraser and pretty long-lasting lead. Standard Ticonderoga for sketching. Something about the seemingly softer lead just makes for a better drawing tool than a writing tool.

Used to build & paint all of those plastic model kits when i was kid, so i come across a bit nerdy at times when i can name all WWII vehicles of all nations.

Needless to say BF1942 was a dream come true for me. :D

I don't think anything can be nerdy enough to be embarassed about for me.

Worst thing that can happen is - they're not interested. I don't tend to look for friends who would shun me for enjoying something they don't... as long as it's harmless, that is.

When I am with my favourite group of friends I am of the least nerdiest so I don't really have any nerdy things to confess. I'm a bad nerd...

My friends all hate Anime, (Dunno why, they just do.) I love it though, so I have to be very careful as to never let them see my phone (Crunchyroll App) or my PC's history (ANIME EVERYWHERE).

Also - Ponies. Although 1 of my friends is a Bronie, so we Bronie it up in Socials, where none of our other friends are in the class.

SOMEPONYBODY PLEASE HELP ME.

But seriously, I'm eccentric and egotistical enough that I don't really mind being open about a lot of the nerdy stuff I do. I made a few passing references to FiM last year in school, but that didn't really take off quite as much as I thought it would've.
I dont think being open about ones nerdyness is egotistical..if anything it just shows that you are happy being oneself (right?..right?)

I used to love dr who, today I bought I 1000 peice jigsaw puzzle (dr who comic panel, tom baker era) which Im gonna stick on my wall after I finish it :p

I'm pretty open about.. pretty much everything. I'm abit antisocial and don't really feel the need for loads of friends, those I do consider friends wouldn't be suprised by anything about me I don't think.

Alot of people who just know me outside of home might be suprised by how randomly funny and sensitive I can be. I learned long ago to affect an air of stubborn, almost rude, disinterest in the people I mix with in the world other than a close circle of friends. People view me as judgemental and lacking empathy, when in fact the truth is far from that.

That I've spent at least a few grand in buying Lego. As an adult.

And in general my friends don't know how big of a dork I really am. They know I love games, but they don't know I took programming classes along side my brother in college to learn how they're made. Not even cause I wanted to make them myself, that's his bag, I just wanted to better understand how they worked. :x
