Way back when I had a nerf gun or two, off the top of my head I had the Mantaray and some kinda one that you had to snap down and pop back up to cycle the 4 shot barrel how amusing they can be I had some fun ones:

I had one of those pistols that had 8 barrels that rotated. It was a ***** to reload though as you need to manually cock each shot and it usually require two hands and gripping it between my legs to pull it back.

I can't remember what it was called, but it had a ten (or twenty? it was a while ago) shot mag that rose out of the top, and you pumped it up. It was awesome and blue.

What's making me happy lately is that my brother and his neighbour/schoolmate (9 and 10 respectively) have suddenly got into nerf guns lately, spending hours building forts and gunning at each other. I'm gonna have to get one of those vulcans and go nerf Rambo on their asses.

That thing is AWESOME looking. All these nerf guns are so weird, they're using tactical rails and all this other silly additions, but the guns themselves are awesome. For an upcoming party I got a Maverick and Recon to shoot the people who get drunk off their ass.

I had a bad ass Bow and 5 barrel Ball launcher. I probably had like 10 different nerf guns growing up I have now but I lost the arrows to it =( I need to get some replacements.

I had a bow (I really wanted to learn archery as a kid. lol), and I had a "Screaming Boomerang", or something like that. You'd throw it, and these open plastic things would catch the air in a way that made it sound like a high pitch whistle. It was way better than it sounds. Too bad my yard was way too small to ever really use it without getting it lost in other people's yards.

Ahhhh nerf guns, I remember that so very long ago. Anyhow, yeps, had the ratchet blast and the electric eel. Glow in the dark darts were always a lot of fun. Oh yeah, and the defender T-3, completely forgot the name but found the picture while browsing. That one was cool. That was... what a decade and some back?

It takes 6 D batteries and dies fast, why would you ever want that thing hahaha.

Though I read some guy did a mod where it used 2 RC car batteries instead and fired 5 times faster.

At least i.m.o. nerf sold concepts rather than toys. Every toy I got [with the possible exception of one called Sawback or something] performed miserably.

The concepts were always amazing though.
