I just recently picked up the Longshot. It is quite amusing. I also have the Maverick, and I still have my double-barrel shotgun, but it doesn't fire anymore.

We (that being my brothers and I) have a ton of modded guns. Removed ARs, added springs, painted for prettiness and cut a little bit to fire stefans. I think I like hitting people from 100 feet away with darts that can leave welts.

I had one that fired a big-ass rocket, and had a pistol and another gun that you could attach to it.

Much fun was had shooting the rocket at peoples' heads.

My friend's little brother and his friend each have one. I once took one in each hand and went crazy on them. They are tough on the wrist however.

A cousin of mine has one of them. It's a shitload of fun to walk around the house shooting family members, and they have a fairly decent range too. I think he has also recently changed the battery in it so it shoots faster and further than it used to. Reloading the belt onto it makes you look and feel like a badass too.

I had the nerf Bow (longshot perhaps?) and the nerf sword.

Back then, you had to load darts one at a time. Probably need to insert something about cane shaking and directing children away from my lawn.

Actually, I don't think I owned the bow and arrow one. IIRC it belonged to my little brother.

Holy cow, I either had that bow or played with one a lot growing up! I completely forgot about it; I thought I didn't have any of the name-brand Nerf guns as a kid.

EDIT: There was also a trick with the B&A: If you twisted the draw handle in circles, it would tighten the elastic bands, thus creating a "snappier" release, giving you more "bang for the buck!" God I miss those toys...and being 8...
