(As far as I could tell, this is searchbar approved.) Dear Escapists, I'm 15 and thusly am too young to have been around when the NES was in its prime. Just yesterday, I bought one on Craigslist, and I'm wondering what games I should get for it. Any suggestions?

Adventures of Lolo!

Found out about it a few weeks ago, it's a seriously underrated puzzle game. Or at least i hadn't heard about it before recently.

Duck Tales, GI Joe, Gun-Nac, Little Samson, Clash At Demonhead, Gradius, Gargoyle's Quest, Metal Storm.

All should give you quite a lot of fun and unique titles for the era.

I got the console, two controllers, a zapper, and Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, all in the original box. It was a pretty sweet deal.

Gauntlet. Man... my grandparents bought a system for the grandkids when at their place and we spent SO many hows playing this game. Get a buddy and sit down to have some fun!.
NOTE: I have not tried the second one, so I would stick with the original. Also, as with ANY pre-saving era games, be sure to copy level codes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. See if you can score a multi-pack of 1, 2, and 3. Once the first breaks you, take a breather, and get to work on the other two.

Would that be the prequel to Gauntlet: Dark Legacy? Because that is an awesome, awesome game.

Hmm, I'll have to get another copy of Gyromite and test that out.

I don't really know if it would work, I could play it because I do have a FamiCom, but I saw the chip thing here

Psh, if you don't get The Magics of Scheherezade you aren't really an NES owner.

...Nevermind that most of them have no idea what the game is. >.>

EDIT: some others I just thought of:

Jackal
Time Lord
Super Spy Hunter
Journey to Silius

Batman and River City Ransom

Those are the only two that are great that haven't been mentioned yet.
