If you said you were sick of zombies in Pittsburgh, someone would probably kick your ass. No offense, but it's sorta' like talking smack on somebody else's team in their own home territory.

Zombies are over-used. People think they won't lose their charm (XD), but, in fact, they have. I'm getting tired of zombies.
We don't have ninja werewolves, but we do have Ninja Dogs and Ninja Zombie Dogs. We'll only start adding adjectives from there. (Ninja Robot Zombie Dogs!)Parallel Streaks said:
I've always felt that zombies were the perfect lens to explore society. they always seem to rise up (pun intended) from obscurity during times of social unrest. As long as someone doesn't write a line of Twighlight-style zombie books then I don't mind the increase in popularity.

Yea you are right. But I still think there is some things to like about them. Left 4 dead 2 is coming out same with dead rising 2, they both look amazing. Zombieland was a solid enough movie. VAMPIRES on the other hand, thats a whole different story. I would love to see Zombies invade the Twilight movie and have them turn those sparkly vampires into a rotting corpse of the undead.
There is nothing wrong with zombies, but come on! Running zombies? Mutant running zombies? Weak zombies? Zombies sparkling in day light?
Why do they have to change? They were just dead people who eat live people. What was wrong with that?
Left 4 Dead is a good game, but it's not a horror or a zombie game. Those are not zombies! Those are weak drug addicts running at those 4 people! They are so weak and so fragile, that it could be called Left 4 Every Day Normal People Running At You At High Speed.
They were slow, but strong and nearly immortal, now they are fast, weak and they die like normal humans. That's not horror!
Bring the old zombies back! There are no zombies in movies and games now, they have been replaced by drug addicts.
