To be honest, it seems that they developed the New 3DS purely so that they can run Xenoblade 3D on it. At least I don't see any other New 3DS exlusive games being released anytime soon...

I found that the power button seems to be an issue for people who hold their 3DS's in a certain way? I honestly like the new spot because I tend to play my handhelds in bed and way too many times I've accidentally hit the power button when I meant to hit the Start/Select button.

The only real downside to me is the Stylus length/location and having to open the back to get access to the SD card. But in general the N3DS for me was a very nice upgrade. I love my old vanilla 3DS but man....that battery life.

Again, I feel this is why they should of ported over the smaller N3DS with the faceplates. It gives people more options. I personally love how big it is, but I know a lot of people where that just doesn't work for them.

I also dont' like the gloss either. The only reason why it doesn't bug me is because the Monster Hunter N3DS is silver and that's really good at hiding gross fingerprints.

Haven't gotten hold of a game that makes use of the new 2nd shoulder buttons yet though.
Maybe it's just me but I noticed that Smash actually makes use of them and it's really weird. I think both the L/R buttons are for shielding now and you have to use the ZR/ZL buttons to actually grab.

Are there any new ways the New 3DS works with the WiiU? I have the (old?)3DSXL and I love it, but can't justify upgrading just yet.
Unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallllllllllly want Xenoblade Chronicles or some other N3DS exclusive, your regular 3DS XL is falling apart, or you have the vanilla 3DS, then upgrading to a N3DS won't ever be worth it honestly.

I had the original 3DS and it's age was starting to show (L/R buttons didn't work.) so it was a worth it upgrade. Other than that? Save yourself some money. In all intents and purposes it's just a nice upgrade. But nothing groundbreaking.

I personally can appreciate the faster loading times, the slightly higher res textures in Monster Hunter and the little nubbin. But none of that justifies an upgrade.
