it could mean money grubbing but it could also mean that all three races will have a giant campaign to play. So i predict a few several hours per campaign and if it does happen like that i will have no complaints to buying all three.

TRUE!

What's sad is that each pack will probably be as long as a campaign from the original. At any rate, I'd just as soon wait and get them for one lump rather than wasting money for individual thirds.

Diablo 3, hmm that will take a while, we all know how blizzard postpone their games. But I think it will deliver.
Also, I heard that they want to make another MMO that has nothing to do with the Warcraft universe, and that in Japan(I might be mistaken), Blizzard tried to buy the rights for Ghost, soo maybe Starcraft MMO?

Its not. Its a new franchise MMO. Nothing related to Stacraft, Warcraft, Diablo even Lost Vikings.

It really depends of the quality, of said games. If they go with each campaign is as long as Stacraft 1 and as good, the money spent on the 3 parts is good money spent. Also they being released with a year difference from each other, so its not going to suck your money dry as some people think.

How else is Activision going to happily "exploit" their franchises? Simply make the games they release smaller, make more of them, and charger the same for each one. I hope the Mr. Kotick chokes on one of the quarters that he is biting...

Ignoring the redundant bandwagon that is "Activision" hate that seems to be pretty hip at the moment,Blizzard hasn't done well outside of WoW.
Hellgate London came out a while back and is well, utter crap.
I'm not really expecting much from them.

That depends on how long each campaign is, and how expensive each seperate game is. Also don't forget, that you will have all races in the multiplayer. You can just buy 1 of the 3 games and have all your online needs.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Diablo 3. I'd love to have myself a proper hack and slash again, and the spell customisation system looks REALLY awesome.

Say WHAT?! Have you never heard of Starcraft, the Warcraft series and the Diablo series?! Plus, Blizzard had nothing to do with Hellgate.

It's just like expansions. Except instead of 3 rather short campaigns, each game contains one long campaign. At least, that's how they're saying it's going to be.

Uhm hellgate was made by Flagship studios, not blizzard.
Even though the mainman of flagship was Bill Roper, who played a major part in Diablo 2 as far as i remember. But still, you can't blame blizzard for hellgate, since they had nothing to do with it.

AS far as i know they haven't really made/released anything outside of WoW since WC3-TFT (or was it D2 LOD?) so i don't really see how they've been doing bad things outside of WoW

I recall them saying each campaign is going to just as long as the original games whole campaign. That, and while I'm not sure about their SNES games, but afterwords they have yet to release a bad game or even a mediocre game. They even went as far as to indefinitely postpone an EXTREMELY good looking game(starcraft ghost) because they weren't happy with the quality.

I think they broke the campaign up was just so that they could release the game a little sooner to their insane fanbase.

Does anyone remember the old days, when Blizzard was still the good guy?

I was never a massive fan of Starcraft, I was more of a Total Annihilation fan, but I'll definitely be looking at Diablo 3. Diablo 2 (and exspansion) is probably in my top ten games list.

I'm not really excited about either one of those.
Actually, the only game I'm looking forward to is Mordern Warfare 2.
Is it just me, or are games getting worse and worse?

Just for the absolutely insane amount of time I've put into D2 I really want to see what D3 will be in the end, i'm pretty scared of it coming out because I don't want to be stuck at my PC for ridiculously extended periods of time.

As for SC2, Looking forward to it, not much more than that though, hope we get some really kick ass use map setting games out of it though.

Interested in knowing what their new MMO is although I won't play it because I enjoy life.
