We've gone from two doctors who always put the salvation of everyone, including his enemies before anything else, even at the cost of his own life to a megalomaniac action hero. Seriously at this point they might as well just give him a shotgun and it would fit with the character.
Rose - Killed the Nestene Consciousness
The End Of the World - Let Cassandra die
World War Three - Killed the Slitheen
Dalek - Tried to kill the last Dalek
The Long Game - Killed the Jagrafess
The Parting Of The Ways - Built a weapon that would kill half a million Daleks and the entire population of earth. Granted he didn't use it. Let Rose wipe out the Daleks.

Tooth and Claw - Killed the Werewolf
School Reunion - Let K9 kill the Krillitane
Age of Steel - Gave the Cybermen back their emotions. Knowing it would kill them.
The Satan Pit - Killed the Devil's body. Knew Rose would kill its mind in Toby.
Doomsday - Killed all the Daleks and Cybermen

The Runaway Bride - Drowned the Racnoss queen

The Lazarus Experiment - Kills Lazarus
The Family Of Blood - Put the members of the family into perpetual states of torture.
The Fires Of Pompeii - Erupted a volcano that killed thousands of people.
The Poison Sky - Attempted to kill the Sontarans
Journeys End - Doctor's clone wipes out the Daleks.

That's just the 9th as 10th Doctors. A couple of the examples above are after the Doctor gave the enemy a choice (Sontarans for example) to leave but refused. The Doctor is not a pacifist, his previous incarnations and the events of the Time War show that he always does what is nesessary when nothing else can be done. The 11th had his fair share of saviours and deaths too. Things like the Angels and Saturnynes that he had no choice but to destroy them lest he risk humanity.

Well no we KNOW Amy won't die.

I am... hesitant about seeing the old style Daleks. This means one of two things, and to be honest, I find neither that particularly encouraging;

1- Reaction to the new design was obvious; Explaining the retcon.
2- The Time Lock holding the Time War back has been broken (temporarily).

Not pleased about the return of Amy and River.
If I see right in the trailer, there are new and old Daleks in the Asylum. There are Daleks from every point in time, Special weapon Daleks for example that have only ever been seen once in the old series.

The Time Lock doesn't necessarily have to have been broken. The Daleks existed before the Time War, if they were exiled (judging the by the title of the first episode "Asylum of the Daleks" that would make sense) then they would have escaped the Time War.

Will the answer to "Doctor Who?" be a cop-out, or will it happen off screen. Because I can't think of any answer that would be good enough to satisfy the fans.

Also, I'll judge the series as I watch it.

And Closing Time replaced Voyage of the Damned as my absolute least favourite episode. At least Voyage was so stupid we all got a laugh out of it, but closing time just frustrated me and my mates to no end.
There's a crappy episode in every series. Usually the one immediately before the series finale. Boom town for the ninth doctor, then fear her, then series 3 was kind of OK, then midnight, then the lodger, then a few episodes of series 6.

Also, the episode with the dinosaurs on a spaceship is called "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship"

P.S The captcha was narrow-minded

Daleks, again? How many times has the Doctor destroyed them "once and for all" in this damn show?
If the daleks don't appear at least once per series, the Beeb lose the rights to them or some such

Personally, I haven't enjoyed the Matt Smith series at all. They become a lot more action-oreintated, not as scary, and I just don't like his character at all. This series has ruined the weeping angels, and fumbled evry plot which could have been good by inserting some 'love your family' or 'freinds will always be there for you' or some other crappy disney-style message in the episode finale. I miss Tennant.

Am I the only one who is happy that Doctor Who is back?? I think most of the episodes will be great, with a few exceptions (the dinasour one). I do prefer David Tennant to Matt Smith, but the show moves on. Honestly, I like it when the doctor gets personnal - when he says they all died cause of his mercy! This series should have some great twists..not to mention the moment the doctor tells River his name - 'there's only one time I could'-David Tennant.

Trailer looks good. I wish they would say what the air date will be already, and festival screenings don't count.

That Special Weapon Dalek was insane, and overpowered. Their beam weapons have been shown to be lethal to each other, dunno why they'd need them. Maybe they will go back to fighting each other rather than the rest of the universe.

Given Dalek prejudices, you are either a Dalek or dead. I wonder why they'd exile some.
