Not really. The series lasted as long as it should have. It told all the stories it needed to. it ended the correct way and managed to wrap things up.
I don't really see the hatred for GT. It was about as official as the last story arc on the series. Buu had a different ending in the comic books, and nothing like the animated series.
Dragon Ball Kai was the only thing that could have been done with the old series. Make it 76 episodes and wrap that shit up sooner.

I'd watch a new series (or read) if it was called "Dragon Ball: Not GT. Nothing to do with GT at all. Not even tangentially related to GT. We promise"
But honestly I think a tasteful spinoff could work. Something unrelated to previous characters and arcs. Or mostly so. Just in the same Universe.

The whole series is built upon a plot hole. Emperor Pilaf should be dead because at the end of DBZ they only wish back for the good people killed by Buu, not everybody. Emperor Pilaf wasn't good.CODE-D said:

Impossible, there isn't enough story to go back into the past, as cool as all the stuff that came after, my and others opinion is that it should have ended at super saiyan, so please no more.
Plus Goku and Vegeta were Super Saiyans when Goten and Trunks were conceived, but they weren't when Gohan and Future Trunks were. Some fans think that might be why it was so easy for Goten and Trunks but so difficult for Gohan and Future Trunks.NameIsRobertPaulson said:

It really is quite a shame that the MMO somebody mentioned isn't widely available. The set up looks quite cool with a great amount of potential.
