When I was 10-12 it was all about Pokemon for the guys and the girls all loved N*SYNC and the Backstreet Boys. I never understood what was so amazing about some group of guys singing, but then again they never understood what was so "cool" about Pokemon.

As for right now, Twilight will fade due to the epic fail that will be the movie coming out in theaters tomorrow. The books are supposedly fantastic reads, however, when my girlfriend tried reading them, she told me they were nothing but carbon copies of other books with vampires thrown in.

The Jonas Brothers are the equivalent of the boy bands of my generation, no comment on it really. They're "hot", or so the ladies say, and by ladies I mean 12 year olds.

They're just fads, you don't have to understand them or take part in them. Let them have their fun and be on their way.

All kids have fads.

you had them when you were growing up.
I'm growing up now. I don't get this shit.
well, most of the fads you listed seem to be chiefly girl fads.

you're not really supposed to find them enthralling if you're a guy.

it's certainly a girl fad era

I normally don't notice fads until they're almost gone. No lie. I'm also the last person to know anything about anything. I didn't exactly know who Hannah Montana was until last month. Not saying she's nearly finished or anything (not that I would mind), I'm just illustrating my point.
