This summer Bethesda will release two new DLC's for Fallout 3: Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta.
Point Lookout is a swampland with new quests, and will be released for Windows and Xbox 360 in June.
Mothership Zeta looks very intresting as aliens will be invading Earth. Hopefully this means more ammo for Firelance.

Other great news? All the DLC will be available for the PS3.

When exactly will this come out?
I heard it will come out in "Summer" - which could basically mean "if this takes long enough, we'll release it at the end of august".

Right out of the link I provided: "Up first, we're working on DLC for the PlayStation 3. We'll be releasing Operation: Anchorage in late June, followed by the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart after. Later this year, PlayStation 3 users will also get...

...our next two DLCs, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Coming first to Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE in June and July..."

I really don't get Bethesda, they keep cranking out DLC, and from my experience playing Anchorage and Broken Steel they add very little to the game. Am I the only who who heard the news of the next 2, rolled their eyes and thought "Yay 2more hours of play and a new weapon or two for $10....yea...." ? It seems somewhat of an insult to me as a player since Oblivion had tons of mods generated by the fanbase that added hours upon hours of gameplay but for Fallout 3 they generate a single quest line that doesn't add much to the game.

The original game cost me $50 for the PC. Each expansion can be blow through in say 2 hours for a normal player (2 is a relative number depending on playstyle, I've had a corrupted gamesave at the end of anchorage and have blown through it a 2nd time in about 45 mins) so if you bought each expansion including the upcoming ones that's $50 for 10 more hours of content....while I the original game had about 40+ hours of content....

No one said you had to buy it. Also, I know I will be leaching this off friends on psn. Sharing it with 5 people.. Yeah baby. Tell my friends to cough up a tenner and they will be able to get all 5 dlcs. ;)

Oblivion's DLC was just as worthless, but it was a lot cheaper. Every DLC except the Knights of the Nine is 80-250 MS points. KotN is 800 MS points.

How about "We'll release it when it isn't a buggy pile of shit".
Seriously, none of their DLC's have launched well. Not even, none have even launched half-assed decently.

But I want mah aliens. I hope they release it all in one. That would be nice. All the DLC's, I mean.

Seriously, I have had this conversation word for word:

ME: "I don't know... I think it's awesome we're getting the DLC, and Broken Steel will probably be a sweet addition. I just don't know if I want to download them."
FRIEND: "You've got 100% Trophies for Fallout 3?"
"Nearly. I reckon I could have it by the weekend."
"The 360 DLC had Achievements."
"So... I won't have 100% anymore? Fuck that! I'll have to buy them just to keep the Platinum!"

Hiya, new to the forums here...

I've gone through The Pitt and I'm just getting into Broken Steel. It does seem like The Pitt had very little content (although I wanna do a second playthrough as an evil character), and I did NOT enjoy some of its "collect x number of y stuff and bring 'em to me" quests, but overall it was a pretty decent piece of content and I welcomed the chance to play some more of Fallout 3.

I suppose getting them or not depends on what you're looking for. I didn't get Anchorage because it seemed like it was much more of a linear shooter experience, while the rest of the F3 DLC seem like a welcome extension to the core game. I guess what I'm saying is I don't mind them existing if they feature some quality content.

LOL at the "Dogmeat Armor" quip, though :p

OR! you could simply do what I do and wait for them to all to come out on some Game of the Year edition like with Morrowind and Oblivion...Although I don't see why Bethesda are playing this game of release two "Bleh" DLC's and give them a physical copy to buy (Op Anch and The pitt), and then release Broken steel with a new level cap, which is what we all wanted anyway, and more to do =S I mean why not put that on with the expansion pack thats available to buy now, It just doesn't make sense (Thinking about taking them to court and using the Chewbacca Defense)

I've completed Fallout 3 (expansionless) and now I'm just gonna sit around an wait for a complete pack of the 5 DLC's to come out so I can enjoy it alot more.
