Looks promising. I'm cautiously optimisitc.

2014, Supergiant? Awww. Well, take your time, folks, and give us something awesome. Good things come to those who are patient! If I could wait until this month for Epic Battle Fantasy 4 (heh, need to review that one), I can wait a while for this, too.

I've actually only just this week played Bastion for the first time, even though I've been a "fan" of it conceptually from the moment I heard about it. I'll certainly check this one out. Supergiant have certainly got some good solid ideas about gaming, and they'd have to screw up royally for this to not be worth the inevitably less-than-AAA price tag.
Oh? That was my favourite part of it. Specifically how all the different weapons and combinations had such varied mechanics. I'm often trying out these arty indie games that get rave reviews and I end up thinking they lack a bit in gameplay. This one impressed me a lot. What didn't you like?Zhukov said:

I think Bastion is one of those games where the ending left people feeling a lot more positive about the game than maybe the game deserved, but unlike say Braid (IMO), Bastion did have a lot of strength in the narration and music and art through the whole of the game and it looks like they haven't given up on that idea.
So I'll keep my eye out, this has the potential to be amazing but I'm not sold on it automatically being the best thing ever

They have my full and undivided attention. Bastion was amazing, so good I even bought the bloody sound track!
