Integrate this into the CoD and LoL game mechanics as a new core part of it.

Just imagine it for a moment.
Alternative idea: Integrate this device with Xbox Live headsets. If you start getting too flustered, auto-mute. Might make online gaming a bit more civil
Better idea make xbox controllers have those heart rate monitors (like the ones on treadmills)
and make games that react to your heart rate.... oh god a good horror game would be a good use for this

I might be mistaken, but I think it was the survival-horror Illbleed for the Dreamcast that made your character's heart rate a key feature (scared to death = game over). That might be do for a sequel now :)

anc[is]Good for them, teaching kids that its not even ok to get mad at something you do by yourself where you can hurt no one, better bottle up ALL the rage.
Not something you'd bottle up. It's not a persistent problem. Rage diffuses and eventually you won't even escalate to that level. Remember, being angry at a video game is nothing like being angry at family/relationship/education/work circumstances.

It'll be interesting to see where this goes. So long as they keep multiplayer out of it, and so keep bullshit connections out of it, I reckon it ought to do just fine.

This reminds me of what I did when I was playing Super Smash Bros Brawl.

I was getting pissed as the CPU cause they would always gang up on me. I started cursing off the CPU (silly right?). I realized that I was getting a little out of hand so I created a new rule for my self: "If I curse I will forfeit a life".

Need less to say I stopped cursing after about three suicides.
