In case anyone isn't sure, obviously I'm joking, I read the linked topic in the Bungie forums and I see that he was purposely searching for it.

And I would say that it's a cool Easter Egg but you'd think they could have said something a bit more intesting? I mean it's not like it was easy to find or anything.

It's all good hah. It was pretty entertaining to find-Took a little over half an hour. It all makes sense why Bungie calls them Easter eggs: for people to go looking for them

I've played that map so many times, and I've never even noticed the light there haha.
