I want that! NAO!

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and I'm really looking forward to the last movie and game.

Did anyone else notice that it said Part 1? I really do hope they'll do that with the movie since it's the last one and it's too big to cram it all in a 2-3 hour long movie.
The movie for Deathly Hallows is being done in two parts. Each part is the length of a full movie.

I understand why they are making the movie two parts, but why would you bother doing that with the game. Instead of making the game based off the movie, base it off the book and that way, instead of two 5-6 hour length games, you have one 10-12 hour length game. If you take into account the collection and exploring you can usually do in the Harry Potter games (at least the first couple) than that would make a solid 15 hour game.
The same reason why they bother splitting the movie into 8 different titles. To make as much money as possible and most of the money a movie earns is from retail things such as this. Why release one game for two movies when you can release two and sell them on the name alone?

Looks HORRIBLE.

The movies have been slipping further and further from the ACTUAL story from 4 onwards (arguably 3 but it only left out pointless bits) and the games are just horrifically off, at least Chamber of Secrets on the Gamecube was a generally fun "RPG" and you could ignore the fact it wasn't close or related to anything, but the rest of the games are simply disgusting.

As someone that was obsessed with the series back in '07, I can say that this is nothing like the storyline. Might be ok, though.

I may just stick to the films. This looks like a clone of all sorts of nasty things. Still, as film adaptations go, it doesn't look too bad.

I feel like this will fall in an unfortunate middle ground where it's too mature and shootery for kids but too silly and simple for adults.

That's what I mean. It's hard to name one decent movie game title and this doesn't look all that bad, considering..

Eh looks mediocre, combat would probably be super repetative, meh visuals and like all movie tie ins inevitably super short they either go the button mash 3rd person action clone or this like Terminator salvation.

And harry potter is a tit even a noob knows to turn undead on a group of zombies, duh.

...Wow.
I... I just don't know what to say.

Maybe I just need to pull my head out of the ground, but a lot of games seem to be taking the Third-Person, Cover-Based route as of late. This, however? I just don't even know.

This will either be the biggest hit since Pacman or fail so hard people from the future will erase from the timeline...
Well, the former I can enjoy. The later can't happen, they'll destroy the universe if they did.
