It's funny to just read through this thread, there appears to be three archetypes:
1. Potter-philes(Thanks to ih8pkmn for that term) The people that complain about how they're taking liberties.
2. El Negativos: People that just say it will suck, some of them come with vague reasoning, but not much.
3. Optimists: People who say that this looks fun, and that taking a few liberties can be a good thing.

I'm definitely in the third category. Ghostbusters was really good, and if the Harry Potter game is as good as that is, It'll be good too

Sure, that trailer looks like they're taking some serious liberties with the book, but that looked pretty damn fun. Between this and the LEGO game, my interest in Harry Potter games may well have been rekindled.

If it plays half as good as it looks, it's going to be awesome. Better than the last.... 4 Potter games, if my memory serves me right. Only the first two were good, the first one was very good, the others were crappy.

But Iron Man 2 looked good too, and was barely better than the first game.

Well we have made some progress in games. We've gone from ultra low def ugly games;

To high def Ugly games.

Seriously view it full size and witness the Ugly full force

Its so...Goddamn ugly.. Seriously, its so ugly its killing the Escapist, look, it can barely contain the damn thing.

one thing to note however is that i think the older ones are more funner, simply because they have that air about them, there not being serious, and Commentary while playing is hilarious.

Then we have the newer ones like this that are..Actually trying to be serious?.. Really?
