I've been thinking after seeing the trailer for a while now...
How does the ice come from lightning?
Or is it like he gets them exactly same as he gets lightning powers?

I am really excited to play this one - especially after they reverted Cole back to his non-fratboy self.

But... I can't get into the electric prod weapon. At all. It looks stupid, sure, but it's also just nonsensical. I mean if you could shoot lightning out of your hands, throw electric grenades and missiles, hurl cars, call down tornados, etc., why the hell would you waste your time lugging around a melee weapon?

I know that the melee combat in Infamous 1 was lackluster, but they could have fixed that by simply increasing the power of his punches and kicks about tenfold. Toss in more aggressive animations and bam - melee combat fixed. Without resorting to an extremely stupid gimmick like a prod.

I like the idea of getting napalm or ice but it makes me wonder. Will the side kick I get powers from lose theirs? Would I get a chance to kill off one of them I didn't like? Lot of things to ponder.
