This looks like it is a hand-held game. If this comes out for the PSP looking like that, I'd certainly buy it.
I thought Nathan Drake had pretty much taken over Lara's spot in the gaming world. Oh well, at least it's supposed to be a little different.

I'm still trying as hard as I can to be enthusiastic about this new Lara Croft game, but it's getting hard. I feel a disappointment not unlike Angel of Darkness coming on.
Why didn't we let Batman die as a character after "Batman and Robin" why not let Superman die after "A Quest for Peace", how about Carmen Sandiego, Duke Nukem, Pac-Man, Sonic and all the other characters that may or may not have use in the modern era?shadow skill said:
Once a character becomes recognizable allowing them to drift into obscurity allows a level of mythology and story telling opportunities to go with them. Why not just fix them, as what appears to be happening? Worked with "Resident Evil 4".
And now that I mention it, why is it Carmen Sandiego and Lara Croft have never worked with or against each other, that strikes me as a rather awesome idea.

While a nice twist from the same thing being remade, I have to say that I'm going to guess that this idea may not work out too well, since while the camera won't be shifting too crazy, it won't be spot on where you need it to be either...from the sound of it

Wait a minute...."the game mechanics are more about arcade-style, fast-paced combat, along with Legend of Zelda-esque puzzle solving."? Why copy the gaming machanics of a game that's just as old as your own? How's that a fresh direction? making it co op? Are dev teams still pulling off that lazy trick? How did it get to this? I was excited at first. a new orginal game....And they're turning her into the new sonic.
