New Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Character Speculation

Now, I know not everyone is going to care, because not everyone gives a damn about MvC3, but I feel like spreading some info around.

So basically, after the latest MvC3 site update, people have been trying to point out new silhouettes that have appeared at the bottom. One of them appears to be Frank West of Dead Rising, but the other one, which seems to be striking a lot of fan hype/backlash is this:

Apparently, people are now thinking that C. Viper from Street Fighter 4, might be making an appearance in the game as a replacement for Captain Commando.

Do any of the Street Fighter or Capcom vs. fans have any feelings on this?

it was confirmed that Phoenix Wright wont be in the game according to Niitsuma. Other characters that are not appearing are Tyrant(tho, I'm sure I saw him in the background of the resident evil stage), Nemesis, The Fantasic Four (Hence why we have Super Skrull), Amingo, Daredevil, Emma Frost, Gene, Ghost Rider, Punisher.

Some might appear such as Dr. Strange, Cyclops and Demitri but they wont be playable.

it was confirmed that Phoenix Wright wont be in the game according to Niitsuma.

I thought that was for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

My only question is, where the HELL are Megaman and Spider-man? Are they saving them or something? Because if they make this game without them... damn, that would suck.

Also, while I have nothing against C. Viper specifically, I really hope that if she IS in there, she doesn't replace old Cap Com. I love that guy.

Seems like you've got that pretty spot on Durxom. Good eye for detail.
MegaMan and Spiderman will be in the game simply because there will be huge outrage if there isnt.

Its either they are gonna state its an obvious release and just merely announce it on the full roster..or the bad news could be DLC characters. Which would suck.

I'm just immensely happy to see both Dante and Deadpool in there.
Their fight in the trailer was amazing

No, he isnt. Don't get me wrong, though, that would be awesome! How about Nightcrawler? He'd make a pretty good playable character, methinks.

well that's gonna make me buy the game just because of that! plus i'm happy that dante is in it! but deadpool alone is a reason to buy the game.
