I think I gave him the Eviscerator, I can't remember. But I do remember that was the only mission in the game where telling them to use shotguns was a good idea! Grunt destroys with a shotgun. You have to get him to hang back a bit when the Scions appear though, he goes down fast to those assholes.Lord Mountbatten Reborn said:I've used a mixture of Miranda, Grunt and the DLC character, Kasumi, whose cloak skill I find invaluable on missions with average soldiers.
And yup, I managed to get past Horizon happily, and it was that last bit with the defence towers and husks that nearly drove me insane. Currently I'm in the Collector Vessel.
Is Grunt's Claymore shotgun good for the husks in the derelict (that bit is one I'm not looking forward to)?
Agreed on all points. Although I used the Infiltrator. Basically a weapons one is better than a Biotic.MiracleOfSound said:Whatever gets you through it, I've heard Soldier is also pretty good for Insanity.Lord Mountbatten Reborn said:I was fairly certain Sentinel was the favourite, but I used a finished ME2 character who happened to be a soldier, with no option to change the class (at least, I never noticed one) like with imported ME1 characters.
I've been using the Arc Beam instead of the Collector Rifle though, and the N7 armour rather than the Cerberus armour (that's probably aesthetic preference though).
I found Miranda invaluable for every mission due to her having Warp and the squad bonuses, and I usually took Grunt too because he was the only one able to stay alive for 5 seconds
Did you get to Horizon yet? That mission is a *****.
I would highly reccommend taking Grunt on the derelict Reaper as he deals well with husks. I was actually gonna do a guide for insanity but we don't have a help/tips forum to put it on.
I can't recall if I used that one, all of them seem effective to be honest.Lord Mountbatten Reborn said:Is Grunt's Claymore shotgun good for the husks in the derelict (that bit is one I'm not looking forward to)?
Yes, very much so. The only issue I have is how Bioware keeps hyping up things that turn out to be exclusive or not very exciting at all.Jenova65 said:Anyway back OT - Does this DLC remind anyone of the exciting 'community event', that people across the world were so happy with, lol!
That was Bethesda actually! But yeah it was a horrendous DLC. They got better though, the Fallout 3 DLC was mostly great, except for Uttershit Zeta.Delusibeta said:Two words: Horse Armour.
Bad, Bioware! Bad!
Heh, it had to be didn't it? Damned be the Scion floating around me.MiracleOfSound said:Lord Mountbatten Reborn said:I've used a mixture of Miranda, Grunt and the DLC character, Kasumi, whose cloak skill I find invaluable on missions with average soldiers.

The Collector ship ambush is the toughest part of the whole game, once you're past that you should be ready for anything! I nearly punched a hole in my HD TV during that mission, it's made insanely hard by your stupid squad AI and just a glitchy little wall for cover.
That would be awesome, I love Zaeed! Same goes for Kasumi she seems to have had an interesting life. Why is it the two most interesting characters aren't interactive? Zaeed should have more stories than a Krogan Warlord!Uszi said:Yeah if they add some crazy ass DLC that adds like 5-10 hours of play time, then maybe.
I want DLC that freaking gives Zaeed Dialogue trees. Sheeesh.
I respectfully disagree. First of all, "The Stone Prisoner" is a fantastic DLC. Might be that it is a bit expensive (in AUS, at least), but I certainly think it's decent value. More importantly, it's a very good way to try to persuade people to buy the game new. Keep in mind, buying used means the developer won't see a penny of your money. It's not like they're obligated to put DLCs in for free (far from it), and I think it's nice that they put up some freebies for those that buy the game new. Cause that's what it is; freebies.delta4062 said:Bioware releasing more pointless items for money? They are turning into Capcom...
How much money is 160 MS Points? I'ms till pissed for them releasing Shale Golem for 23 bucks here in Aus (It may come free with every new purchase, but for those who don't have the money for brand new, It's fucking bullshit.

OT : why would i get this just so i look a bit diffrent would have made alot more sence releasing it around the same time the game came out buuuuuuuttttt i guess its ea so they can be excused for there money grabbing tactics NOT lol
I don't get it, people play COD and Halo constantly, but clearly we can't continue to play a game that at least offers different experiences dependant on how you play? Ho hum! ;-)P.Tsunami said:Kramcake2516 said:people are still playing this game do they not know there are other games out there now lol

...huh.
So, uh, enlighten me. As an RPG fan (with a faint dislike of JRPGs mind you), what game should I pick up that's newer (and better to this date) than Mass Effect 2?
Give me a break. The game is four months old, that's hardly outdated.
