Hi! Can you recommend a new MOBA game? Because I'm fed up a bit of the LOL and it's similar childrens.

It would help to mention what you've played. Well, aside from LOL. Here is a list from the top of my head, though
Dota 2
Smite
Demigod (dunno if it's still around)
Heroes of Newerth
Awesomenauts

Awesomenauts. It's basically a simplified MOBA re imagined as a side-scroller. It's fast, easy to learn, and most importantly, it is really, really fun. The game has a bit more of a focus on twitch skills than your standard MOBA, but there is a surprising amount of depth to the game once you get into it. It is a game that I would recommend to anybody that enjoys multiplayer games. Plus, what other game is there that lets you play as an obese space viking?

Alternatively, if you're looking for something a little more traditional, there's always Dota 2. The learning curve is huge, even if you've played LoL, but it's still a very good game, and is at the top of my most played games on Steam.

First off, welcome to the Escapist, stay out of the basement, and blame Kross if anything goes wrong. =P

Dota 2 is a solid recommendation. Just have a few friends or people you're willing to play with, because the learning curve is sttteeeeeppppppp. We've got a user group here if you're interested.

I'll also recommend Awesomenauts. Fun little 2D MOBA that has a unique feel in particular. It's more of a casual game, so you may look to that if you're looking at it that way.

Smite is my go-to for when I'm burned out on the tension of LOL and I just want to kill people. They have a Summoner's Rift clone map, but they also have 5 or 6 other modes of varying degrees of deathmatchiness, and they also beat LOL to the limited time goofy game style of the day concept. Awesomenauts is also in this vein- goofy fun, with the distinction of being the only 2D MOBA I know of. They have a big expansion in the works as well, which will add a lot once it's complete.

DOTA is the obvious choice if you're serious about your MOBAs. Its skill designs and itemization options are more bizarre and interesting than LOL, and people with good micro skills can do amazing things with the ability to control multiple units, but there are some divisive aspects of the game (unreliable gold, denying, the courier) that make it harder to get into the game and that require more consistently good play out of you in order to succeed. If you do get into it though, they just added ability draft mode, which is a blast.

Beyond that, you can try to get into the Infinite Crisis beta, which is only OK at this point. The only other MOBAs I've played are Heroes of Newerth and Guardians of Middle Earth, and I wouldn't recommend either of them.

Dota 2 obviously. It's tough to get in to, no matter if you played LoL or not, but it's also very rewarding once you get the hang of it. I've never really tried any other MobA, LoL and DotA aside, that feels right tbh. Tried a few different ones but nah, DotA and League are by far the best ones.

Awesomenauts can be fun too, but i would never compare it to something like DotA. They share a few mechanics but are fundamentally different games, i'd say.

Here are the new upcoming moba games in 2014 as far as I know:
Strife, Infinite Crisis, Smite, Downgate,Heroses of the Strom, Dead Island Epidemic, Battle for the Gods, Chaos Online, Sins of a Dark Age, Project Pentakill, King of Fighters online, Archeblade, Age of strom. All of them has a video on the internet.
And what is really get my attention: Eterlands
I don't know too much about Eterlands but this looks different than the usual(LoL, Dota..) based on the graphics. The only one that has a potential to bring something new in this genre.

Dunno what you base that claim on, since that video explained exactly nothing about Eterlands.
Panning shots of rendered Generic Medieval Fantasy Land followed by a beefcake yelling, and some captions.

You could try Magicka: Wizard Wars. It's a bit more than $10 on steam to get into the beta and it'll be free when it comes out.

I based my claim on what i saw, that it's not a cartoonish MOBA game. I don't know anything about it except the text under the video. Anyway I like it so far and waitng for more information.
