New Sony handheld... Vito, or Vital?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else got themselves a Vita? - and what do you think about it.

I really like it, the screen is incredible, controls are incredible, and really I just can't wait to try a FPS on it. It's not perfect - the remote play functionality is currently pointless, mostly just PSN games that work. I'm a little surprised at how badly it's doing considering the power, and the potential of finally having a FPS capable handheld. I even like that Dungeon Hunter game that I got with it.

So anyone played some cool games that aren't just gimmicky card games yet?

What games are you looking forward to?

I don't understand the thread title. Anyway, how are the sales numbers on it so far, do you know?

I don't have one, $250 plus a game plus a mem card is just too much for me. I'll wait for a price drop in a few years and by then maybe they will have PS1 support, that's what makes up most of my PSN titles.

I'm not a handheld gamer at all, the last handheld I had was the fat Gameboy.

As for the Vita itself, I don't really see the use of playing console games on the go; I (and I reckon most other people) already have a console for that. I'm sure it's a neat system, I just don't think there's a real substantial audience for it.

I'll wait to see if there are any good jrpgs . Thats my criteria for handheld consoles . It does lookg pretty awsome though , but the non backwards compatibility killed it for me , as far as day one buy goes . What game did you buy for it btw and is it any good?

I'd love to get one but to be honest I hadn't seen the games in physical form til yesterday, the boxes are so tiny...way to ruin my neatly OCD-based collection, Sony

Pretty much this for me. But if the reports that Japanese developers are abandoning it for the 3DS its not looking likely.

None of the games interest me at all. Never really liked Uncharted. Lumines I own on the PSP and Rayman Origins on the PS3. Dunno how the battery is but I heard it's rather poor. Not gonna be worth it.

Waiting for a price drop and some good games to be announced other than Little King's Story.



And for the records. Noticed the Vita has had a price drop down to £197 from £210 in the space of two days. hmmm
