New SSX in the works; Woo/Meh?

SO, turns out a new SSX game is well underway! Personally, I'm really happy. I have really good memories of playing...[okay, my memory is bad, but just roll with it]...whichever ones it was, and a couple of weeks ago I was wondering what ever happened to the franchise.

So what do you guys think? Happy to see a return of the Snowboarding/skiiing genre's juggernaut? It is just another one of those games that'll pass you by?

From this article, it seems very interesting...definitely gonna keep my eye on this one >.

I remember playing the hell out of SSX Tricky on my PS2. T'was a fun game. Guess I'll keep an eye on this, but I doubt I'll buy it at launch.

Goddamn I hope this game takes everything that was good about SSX: Tricky and SSX: 3 and combines them into one solid gold snowboarding title the likes of which hasn't been seen by anyone before. I may even buy a PS3 just for that game.

I only ever played Tricky, my parents were nice enough to rent it for xmas when I got my ps2. I never played any of the other 'numbered' titles though. But if what I can remember in my head about Tricky mixed with the awesomeness a new HD games ensues, then its gonna be fucking awesome. I really hope they work hard at it and make a fucking amazing game because I can see myself losing some serious hours to it if its really good.

I wish I could play J.P and sport a Tuxedo and black Pants on the course, it was utterly stylish. Too bad there isn't any pictures I can show of J.P in a Tuxedo and Black Pants but trust me, it was awesome!

As long as it skews towards the greatness of SSX3, I'm sold. ... Actually, at this point, I just want another SSX game and I'd actually probably take anything.
