Also anyone have sympathy for poor Robin Shou, who I thought did a pretty good job as Lui Kang in the first Mortal Kombat, reduced to being just 'thug #3' in other video game movies, like Dead or Alive and this one.

I'd also say, Dead or Alive, while in no way an Oscar Winner, at least had fun fight scenes and understood the game's audience with it's lurid camerawork on the leading ladies. I can't but feel in other hands they'd have somehow forced the lead to be a male, when we all know DOA is all about the women!

EDIT: its up to a whole FIVE percent on RT now! Someone hated it slightly less than most!

Bison: "You see, your father has been the milk of my business. But even milk has an expiration date." I`d like to see the A-list scriptwriters (or riters in this case) come up with a line of dialogue as inspirational as that.

we all knew this streetfighter film would be pants....

I hope that if bioshock/halo/gears of war come to the big screen they stay true to the story and actually make a decent effort.......in the case of gears of war i reckon they knew a film would be on th cards, the casting of Cole was slightly too coincidental.....
