Also anyone have sympathy for poor Robin Shou, who I thought did a pretty good job as Lui Kang in the first Mortal Kombat, reduced to being just 'thug #3' in other video game movies, like Dead or Alive and this one.
I'd also say, Dead or Alive, while in no way an Oscar Winner, at least had fun fight scenes and understood the game's audience with it's lurid camerawork on the leading ladies. I can't but feel in other hands they'd have somehow forced the lead to be a male, when we all know DOA is all about the women!
EDIT: its up to a whole FIVE percent on RT now! Someone hated it slightly less than most!
