new Total Recall:...no mars?

so apretly the new total recall has no mars.....and it seems to be a kind of "bourne identity" type thing

while this is kind of annoying (can normal not understand going to mars or somthing? is mars out of fashion?)

I can somwhat forgive them beause the world does look cool and bladerunner esque...and I'm not into condemning things before they come out

Who gives a shit if they're is no Mars. I'm worried that there's no Arnie. It's strange thatt there is no Mars what's he going to say instead of "Lets move to Maarz!" Colin Farrell isn't great but on the upside it's got Bryan Cranston. Phillip K. Dick didn't like Bladerunner he probably won't like this film based on one of his stories. He night have hated the original film but I guess we'll never know.

I just did some research and apparently he didn't like the original script. but liked the rewrite. I've been misinformed about him hating it, he actually said that it was going to be a huge success after watching some program about it on TV.

Don't see the lack of Mars as an issue at all. If you want the Arnie version, that one still exists. If you want a different take on the story, you might be well served with this one.

The lack of Mars doesn't bother me, or the lack of Arnie. Unlike most of the internet I'm capable of judging a movie on its own, instead of constantly comparing it to the original. Probably why I enjoyed the Conan remake so much.

I couldn't watch it with the sound on...but to me the memory thing looks less like a "professional service" and more "opium den"
