New Trailer released for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Honestly, this doesn't really inspire me with confidence. It seems to me like the Prince is best when he's in Mechner's control, and this looks more to me like the Prince we saw in Warrior Within, not The Sands of Time. I'm going to reserve judgment on this one, but I'd much rather they focus on the new Prince character from the last game, improve his gameplay, make him more interesting, and expand the universe he lives in rather than going about mucking up the Sands of Time trilogy.

It does look interesting, seems like they're going to go back to the old rewind mecanic for this one. It did seem to have a fairly heavier tone so maybe we're going back to Warrior Within, *Prays to god that isn't true*.

Ummm...You know what, I can't really take anything away from this. The sands hold a dark secret...WTF does that mean? Nothing, at the moment.

All I can tell from this is the Prince looks like he did in Warrior Within, which isn't a good thing in my book. I personally hope this is a different character (maybe his son?) as the Prince's story ended with Two Thrones, and should remain that way. Anyway, wouldn't it be King of Persia if it was him?

I honestly don't know how to feel about this yet. On the one hand, the Sands of Time trilogy i done, finished, and should be left well enough alone. On the other, the last Prince of Persia, which started a completely new story, was a shit sandwich.

Do I want more Prince of Persia? Of coarse, it's my favourite game of all time. But not like this.

Everything about this preview says 'Game of the Movie,' which is coming out the same month.

I intensely doubt we're back to the SOT series for longer than this cash-in.

The only reason I'm not angry at Ubisoft is because they gave me AC2.
