Is Shia Labeuff(or however you spell it) in it? Or Megan Fox?
*watches trailer*
Didn't say anything in the trailer.
Looks awesome, but all the Transformer's trailers did.
I'll just wait for reviews to come out, and see if Hollywood learned it's lesson.(ha, as if....)

Fox will not be back but the girl from Prince of Persia is taking her place. Shia is back but possibly in a smaller role. I want to see a bit more serious acting this time around a no disappearing Autobots during the fights.

How about no concern over squishy humans, getting Optimus killed? That was pretty stupid.

Spielberg and Bay... So there will be children in jepordy, and shaky camera action.
I'm assuming the oldbot was unicron, but he's terribly small, maybe he's been assimilating the moon for 40 years, I wouldn't put something like that past those two.

I thought this was going to be a hoax since they're not even done filming yet, but lo and behold, there is a trailer. Neato.

that being said...eh, it's cool. Revenge of the Fallen hurt me, so I'm wary of running back to transformers with open arms again. Even this one, while the premise is cool....doesn't give anything away. It's another transformers movie, it doesn't say anything about what it is, what the basic premise is, and if there was a crashed spaceship on the lighted side of the moon...how come the big telescopes on earth that can count the particles of space dust in saturns rings never saw it? That just rubs me the wrong way right off the bat >.<

So this is a historical fiction now? Looks alright I guess but I swear, this screams Alien.

Get it?

If someone had showed me this trailer, without telling me beforehand that it was for TF3, it'd have probably taken me a little while to figure it out. That seems horribly counterproductive.

Huh. I dunno what to think.

Oh wait, Michael Bay.

...Pass.

And... random bot at the end? Alpha Trion? Unicron? Some smelly old guy? I dunno. The possibilities are endless.

Call me overly optimistic, but I want this to be good. I enjoyed the first one as a blockbuster action movie. The second one...left me a little butt hurt (damn those racist "black" robots). I don't let a movie being bad ruin the experience for me.

It looks good but since it's Bay, expect racist stereotypes,Lens Flares, and artillery porn staring the military. Just like all of his other movies. I expect this movie to fail at the box office.

Well the premise is garbage, for starters. For there to be a known spaceship on the moon, well, they'd have to know it was there, and I'm guessing the technology to see it didn't exist until many years afterwards. So the reason they've concocted for going to the moon is entirely implausible, when they could have just gone with Buzz Aldrin saying "hey, what's that over there?"

They need Mel Gibson working on this movie: that dude knows story structure.

I'm looking at the cast, and it confuses me.

John Malkovich is in as Shia Thebeef's boss. John Malkovich is one of those actors who makes movies good simply by being in them, so that's a plus. But Ken Jeong is in it too. Ken Jeong is the Chinese guy from The Hangover who wants his $80k back, and historically has been almost exclusively in comedies. So they've cast a comedic actor in an action movie. Nothing against Jeong, but that seems like just a poor casting choice. Then there's no mention at all of Megan Fox's character, so odds are they're simply going to handwave over her departure and move on.

If anyone has any idea where this is going, I'd love to hear it. Though I can pretty much guarantee I won't be seeing this in theatres unless it comes out with 4/5 stars across the board; I like seeing vast movies in theatre, but I also like for those movies to be worth watching.

So you'd rather have a director obsessed with torture over one obsessed with explosions?
*joke over*
Bay can't scar childhood memories anymore? ...Right?

Legs will be humped, Megatron's balls will show up, women will be objectified, tight polos with popped collars will be worn, spiked hair, orange skin, pink lips, the plot will have as many holes as the remains of a scout who pissed off a heavy, and after filming, Optimus Prime was found sobbing uncontrollably in a car wash.

I wonder how any of this will fit into continuity? And shouldn't the moon be cold enough to freeze them? How was it waking up?
