New Vegas pre-order code not working

So I picked up New Vegas Collector's edition today, and found out that it had been registered for the 360 version rather than the PS3 one. Luckily I got a 360 last year for my Birthday and my PS3 broke and I'm lay buying a new model now, so thank god for small miracles.

Anyway I take it home and try to enter the classic pack code I got, yet I'm being told that it's an invalid code. I've typed it in several times and I'm sure it's the right code, but the marketplace is telling me it's not valid. Has this happened to anyone before? Any advice on how to get the contents?

I had a different game where I realized I was entering a 0 (zero) onstead of a letter O so maybe that. Otherwise, I don't know.

I wouldn't worry too much, I used the code for the tribal pack and had replaced the weapons and armor within the first hour of playing. The stuff they give you is pretty base line.

I am getting the Caravan Pack (UK it comes out tomorrow). I plan on buying or stealing a canteen instead. Although I wish I had pre-ordered from GAME (UK place for Classic Pack) now, as a friend who did has received his copy today.

Yeah I figured that might be a good thing to have, I get by on hardcore fine though, waters not too hard to come by.

Yeah my CE from there came today.

The canteen is pretty useful. I can see the other stuff getting replaced pretty quickly though.

You could try entering the code on the xbox.com website instead of in the console. Easier to type out then too unless you have a keyboard hooked up to your 360.
