This new wiki called PCGamingWiki [http://pcgamingwiki.com/] is a new resource for listing every single PC gaming fix.

An example is the Mass Effect 3 [http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_3] page.

Check it out! It could become an important source of fixes for PC gamers in the future.

bumping for awsome

Borderlands needs some updating. Ill see if I can put in some solutions to FoV and mouse acceleration.
Most the pages need quite a lot of work to be honest, the wiki is less than a month old!

A quick update on the site
Within a month, the site has grown to over 550 contributors and 350 game fix articles. The site has gained some media attention and has been featured on:
Kotaku [http://kotaku.com/5889069/pcgamingwiki-wants-to-solve-the-biggest-problems-with-pc-gaming-intimidation-and-confusion]
Destructoid [http://www.destructoid.com/pc-gaming-wiki-2-0-aims-to-help-fix-every-pc-game-222697.phtml]

How can you help?
The wiki needs the help, skills and expert knowledge of the community to help with fixing PC games, and making PC gaming better for everyone. The next time you apply a fix for a game, come to PCGamingWiki [http://www.pcgamingwiki.com] and see if it is already listed. If it isn't, why not spend a few minutes writing it down and helping the next person along (no account required). Let's fix PC gaming!

Wow seriously, several shows? The only one I've heard is this one on his Salebox: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW5ldLD0ysI#t=9m04s

Do you have links for others?

This sounds cool.

Maybe it can lower the number of times I run into a problem with a game, google it, find one result on some obscure forum in a thread made 3 years ago with two posts reading "Heres my problem, how do I fix it" and "Never mind, I figured it out myself". (Doesnt mention how the fuck he resolved the problem in the end.)

Irritating as fuck. Happens to me way to often. First world problems ftw!
I get that a lot too. And attempting to inquire as to how is an exercise in futility.
PC gaming issues have gone down lately though; I'm actually spending more time playing games than attempting to get them to run now. But that site may just come in handy (bookmarked!)

Well, at least we're past the days of IRQ conflicts and the late DOS days of getting it to recognize peripherals without shitting all over the place.

You'd be surprised at how much trouble modern PC gaming has brought me.. LA Noire is a particularly example where I just can't get it to run (even though my rig can handle almost anything). It's these damn console ports I tells ya!

This might as well be the right place to ask. So I've had a few problems with my mouse. It's happened in at least two games so I'm guessing it's the mouse itself at fault. It's a Razor Copperhead. What happens is I'll be playing a game and gradually I'll notice the sensitivity drop. I like the mouse to be nice and sensitive, and I really notice it when it slows down. Eventually it becomes unplayable, as in you need to frantically flail about with the mouse just to get the cursor to cross the screen. Exiting the game doesn't solve anything once it's happened; I have to restart my PC to fix it (the slowdown carries on even just browsing windows unless I restart).

But this doesn't happen all the time, and only certain games seem to be affected. I've figured out that it happens whenever the RMB is held down while the mouse is moved heavily. The two games I've noticed it happening are DDO and Skyrim. In DDO, particularly as a melee, you're holding the RMB a lot as it's the main attack button and you're often strafing around enemies. In Skyrim it only really happens using the Bow, and particularly fighting dragons; if you're holding RMB to keep the bow drawn and you keep the cursor over a dragon that's flying over your head you have to turn quickly and it never fails to cause this problem.

So is this likely to be a mechanical fault or is there some special hidden checkbox somewhere that says "do you wish to prevent that fucking annoying slowdown thing?" that I'm supposed to have checked?

I am planning to build a up a hardware section to answer questions like these. For example, I use a WoW Cataclysm mouse that has a lot of peculiar behaviour.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question. Maybe it's worth posting in the Razer forums and asking them. Remember to post back to the wiki if you figure out a solution :).

I would advise switching to a different mouse to see if the problem persists.
