Speaking of machinima the in game Wrathgate cutscene is pretty epic. WoW in general seems to have embraced some ideas that they previously somewhat neglected such as machinima and phasing and the results are pretty impressive.

My goodness... the anti WoW-ism sure has taken root hasn't it? :D

I love it... the technical skill of the author is terrific; the visuals are smooth, crisp and fluid; the narrative is interresting, never going stale or stopping. He even managed to make the wuxia-like wall jumping seem realistic, which is no small feat.

The music is hardly Azerothian, but concidering Blizzard's proud tradition of never letting anyone immerse themselves in the world anyway I'm willing to let that one slide. It sets the tempo of the video so nicely so the contribution is alot bigger than the slight mood break.

Gets a definite 5 out of 5 from me.

I'm not going to nitpick the animation to death. I saw a few things in there that irked me, but they were minor and not noticeable for most people. I'm especially not going to fault the animation when there's perfectly TERRIBLE music to rip into. Hearing that song on repeat for 7 minutes is like a new, improved version of the Chinese Water Torture. I can't even see how it fits the theme of the movie; yeah, the song is called "hide and seek", but the atmosphere is all wrong for a song like that. A single assassin, infiltrating and fighting her way through a city full of guards, in order to assassinate a wizard-looking woman of extreme power...that doesn't exactly say "fast-paced, bouncy music" to me.

Still, I've seen much worse [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiARsQSlzDc]

Considering how sucky usual Machinimas are this one is decent.
No, you are so very wrong. Not only is that show fairly average but there are many better shows.

The first is one of the most original I have ever seen and the second is one of the most emotionally moving machinima I have ever seen.

And thats just from Lit Fuse, there are plenty of other Machinima directors that make much better movies then The Craft of War: Blind.

Thats not to say it was terrible. There are worse movies and Directors out there, just that this video is not sticking out as top quality stuff. Its really only hovering around the middle mark for Machinima quality. In my opinion anyway.
